Laker softball captains Anna Craft and Miranda Johnson spoke with the press after today's quarterfinal loss to King Philip, the top-ranked team in Division 2. Like all of their teammates and coaches, they can look back with pride on another outstanding season!

The SL girls' track and field team can claim two Patriot League All Stars for the 2026 season: Allison Cheverie and Nicole Stanford. Hayden Mathias won the team's Scholar Athlete Award, while Leanne Arseneau took home the Sportsmanship Award.

The SL boys' track and field team can claim three Patriot League All Stars for the 2026 season: Paul Beauchesne, Owen Hughes, and Wyatt McElwee. Cam Lydon won the team's Scholar Athlete Award, while Jake Queiros won our Sportsmanship Award.

The #8 SL softball team battled back from an early 3-run deficit to top #9 Reading, 6-5, in a Round of 16 tournament game on Wednesday. Next up, the Lakers will travel to top-seeded King Philip for an Elite 8 game on Saturday!

Cole Miller scored 3 goals and Finn Cronin added 2 more, but the #17 SL boys' lacrosse team fell to top-seeded Billerica, 18-8, in a Round of 16 tournament game on Wednesday. Owen MacInnis was again strong in net, as the Lakers closed out a memorable season.

Finn Cronin and Cole Miller scored 5 goals apiece, and Owen MacInnis was outstanding in net, as the SL boys' lacrosse team upset Plymouth North, 16-10, in a first-round playoff game on Sunday. The #17 Lakers advance to the Sweet 16 to play the winner of Billerica vs. Westfield!

The #8 SL softball team erased an early 2-run deficit to top #25 Leominster, 3-2, in a Round of 32 tournament game on Sunday afternoon. Next up, the Lakers will host the winner of #9 Reading Memorial and #24 Mansfield later this week.

After falling to Marshfield, 4-1, on Friday, the SL softball team bounced back with a 1-0 victory over Pembroke on Saturday. The league champions now await the release of playoff brackets on Wednesday!

Silver Lake 🥎 1 Pembroke 0. Katelyn Taylor 2-2 driving in the games only run in the bottom of the 6th. In the ⭕️ she scattered 4 hits and struck out 7. Anna Craft was 2-3 at the plate. The Lakers finish the regular season at 15-3 (14-1 Patriot League).

The annual "FUTURE Laker Day," a rite of spring for sixth graders in our district, was a big success, thanks largely to the efforts of 26 CURRENT Lakers, who represented our 26 varsity programs in the best way possible!
