After 146 days of demonetization,
they gave it back to me — exactly the same way:
without any explanation, without an apology, and without any proof of violation.

All of this happened at a random moment.
They just restored my monetization, even though a week ago support said they couldn’t help me and that I had to wait 90 days for my second appeal.

I deleted 90% of my content, and I don’t know if that was the right decision or if I just killed my channel for nothing.

I lost about $6,000 because of this. Yeah, I know for some people this is not a big amount, but I worked extremely hard for this money, and it's gone.

Unfortunately, I have no advice for you, because all of this is just a joke played on us.
Keep tweeting at least once a week, guys.

@TeamYouTube don’t specify which video exactly violates their policies.

My budget has long since hit zero, and right now I’m not in a position to devote attention to X every day.

I’m currently looking for a job just to get by and avoid going completely bankrupt (with debts)

I’ll try to post once or twice a week, but overall, my activity will drop off.

If you can, please keep posting. If you’ve gotten your monetization back, make a post—it gives hope to many of us.

I already filed an appeal after 90 days, and it was denied.
My next resubmission will be on May 20. I honestly don’t know what else I need to remove or change.

Hey so @TeamYouTube the deadline for you to respond to my complaint (case id: 20260309-0005) under the EU DSA already passed and you didn’t reply.

The DSA saw my case was strong enough to be forwarded directly to you and you were given 14 days to respond and finally confirm what was wrong. But still no response and you can’t prove what was wrong.

Therefore, I am respectfully asking for you to please reinstate my channel. Irreparable damage has already been done. I already lost over $1000 of withheld revenue since it’s been over 50 days. Please just fix this already.

After over 100k+ total views across all my posts and hundreds of people supporting and tagging @TeamYouTube on my posts regarding my channel Hoopletics getting mistakenly terminated for “spam” I still haven’t heard anything back from them.

It’s been 46 days already since my channel got terminated and if it reaches 50 days I will lose all the withheld revenue on the channel. I had over $1000 in withheld revenue in this channel and it will be stolen away if this doesn’t get fixed in 4 days.

My channel was a gaming channel with original gameplay content all recorded and edited manually. There are other channels that make the same type of gaming content and have no issues for years. All videos were monetized and no strikes or issues prior to this termination.

I had this channel since 2022 and never had any issue like this. The content was always in the same gaming niche. I truly believe this was a false positive error that needs to be fixed asap.

I even filed a complaint under the EU DSA and it has already been forwarded to YouTube but still no response or explanation.

I don’t want to be dramatic, but I legit haven’t been able to sleep well at all for over a month because of this and am a complete mess. I loved making the content I was making, I worked 3-4 hours everyday on this channel and it is literally like a part of me just got ripped away for no good reason and it hurts bad. My livelihood and health is being badly affected and I am just being ignored.

My channel (AnonymousMike) has been demonetized for nearly a month. First, on 20 February for "Harmful Content Involving Minors", and then "Misleading Family Content".

I have proven extensively in both email correspondences with YouTube and in repeated X posts how these accusations against my channel are completely false, and just another instance of YouTube's automated content review systems hallucinating policy violations. Hundreds of other channels, including animation channels similar to mine, have been kicked from YPP around the same time and for similar reasons.

Attached are several pieces of evidence 1) defending my channel and 2) showing the prolonged trouble I had to endure to bring my case to YouTube's serious attention, and being rejected again and again by automated responses without consideration of what I even presented (my first formal appeal, which contained a link to my unlisted video appeal exonerating my channel of any YCG violation, was not even viewed before my appeal was rejected). Additional evidence exists in the replies.

YouTube support staff continue to give me an unfair shake. All of my past conversations with Support concerning my demonetization were exercises of futility, as none of my arguments against my YPP suspension were actually being addressed - I was only ever given responses to the effect of, "our team already reviewed your channel", "this decision is final" and, "we understand the frustration of being suspended and thinking you did everything right..."

Given that dozens of unfairly demonetized animators have thankfully had their monetization restored, even after numerous unsuccessful appeals (often amounting to dozens), after being told over and over again that their suspension was "final" - I have no reason whatsoever to believe that the same fair treatment cannot be given to my channel.

I am thankful to YouTube for remonetizing so many innocent creators in the animation space. But YouTube's responsibility is far from over. The flaws of imprecise AI content moderation systems have to be reckoned with.
