@drivetimerte worth asking Mr McPartlan why fuel prices in Galway city are consistently higher than many rural garages (eg Ballindine) and in Dublin. Usually at least 3-5 cents cheaper even though a fuel storage terminal is in Galway 🤔
@drivetimerte Galway traffic a nightmare. A cancer patient i cross from West to East Galway (Galway Clinic) for chemo every 2 weeks. I leave home at 7:30am to make 9 am appt traffic jams for next 20 years due to By-Pass objections by our new president who did no favours to Galway
@TodaywithClaire
The argument for childless couples is just as relevant for childless individuals. Why not argue for single people who don’t have children having the same as childless couples A selfish argument if individuals are not included.
@LauraLoomer You are hilariously funny (though you may not realise it). I think most catholics have a huge amount to be happy about. He has similar views to Pope Francis and supported by many progressive Catholics. Obviously he doesn’t suit your agenda and that of your right wing extremists
@RadioBrendanRTE on Sat you said you had were traumatised when told polyps were precancerous. As a stage 4 CRC patient, I envy that you had polyps removed instead of a cancer diagnosis. You might be more sensitive your comments given that many listeners were not as lucky as you
@LarryPDonnelly Shocking is a huge understatement. Many other words and expressions, most unprintable, would describe the behaviour of both Trump and Vance. Totally premeditated assault on Ukraine very hard-working, courageous, and resilient leader @LarryPDonnelly
@Tom89968614 You are obviously a disappointed England fan. I assume you usually find it hard to be gracious in defeat. As an Ireland fan, apart from 2 bad kicks i thought he was close to if not MOTM.
@TodaywithClaire
Claire, instead of a 100% focus on Dublin (Airport, Metro) cover the regions too. Galway has the 7th worst traffic in Europe for cities of our size. A bypass is 30 years in planning. Please cover that story and the desperate traffic problems we have every day.
#eoghancorry@simonharris@michealmartin We need a BIG focus on regional development and the creation of a western pole to counteract Dublin. Only with balanced growth will we maximise our overall economic potential.
It’s Economics 101
@eoghancorry all you care about is making money for your personal business. 95.% of traffic comes in and out of Dublin yet only 45% live in Dublin. Most people don’t need to travel to and from Dublin. I live in. galway. I want fly from and back to Shannon. Regional Development
Instead of blaming the GAA,Taoiseach, Tanaiste and successive Governments must take the blame. RTE has been underfunded for years. Provide adequate funding to RTE and they can then show lots more sport @drivetimerte@SimonHarrisTD@MichealMartinTD@jarlathburns @GAAGO @RTEsport
Raskin to Boebert: Democrat is the noun. When you use it as an adjective, you say Democratic.. As if every time we mentioned the other party it just came out with a kind of political speech impediment like, oh, the Banana Republican Party.
Congrats Ann got a great study. Looking forward to hearing more about your PhD research as you progress. Best wishes to you and hope you enjoy the symposium @TUDublin_BN
Agree 100%. Laws need to protect tenants but landlords need protection too. They also need to be able to sell their property when they want without lengthy, expensive legal cases to have tenants removed once given necessary notice. And I’m not a landlord
A friend of mine is a landlord with one property. Self-employed, it is his pension and security for the advancing years. Some of his tenants are mature single people who are unable to buy their own place. They have been his tenants for years. He is not the problem. #housing
Very good question. Can’t think of a good answer to justify having everyone else hear stuff they don’t need or want to hear. Like playing loud music on speakers in public places.
Simon Calder being absolutely, perfectly clear about the causes of the delays at Dover. Not to assign blame, but to counter the pitiful excuses from the government and the pro-Brexit gang with some plainly spoken facts. Imagine that: FACTS!
