CW: family death

Flurry of emotions recently, with the passing of my grandma (who raised me in lieu of my mom) last week & flying back for the funeral, reconnecting & mending bridges with my dad, from whom I was estranged for the past 10+ years. I’m mentally drained.

All this to say, I’ve been a mix of so many emotions - sad, relieved, hopeful, devastated. But I realized that life is too short for me to keep holding grudges. Lots of introspection over the past couple of years, but especially the last few weeks. Feels like progress.
