@BobbyMarks42 Had you watched #VirginiaTech knock off Louisville and Memphis State, both ranked #1 at each time, in the 80's, you would have said #30 DELL Curry, the original college long distance shooter. Dell was so amazing it was like Bird, Ainge and Magic from way beyond the key.
@BJosephRadio Yes that was true. Never going to get all the calls with a legend Coach K on the other bench. Even the refs are in awe.. and they should be.
Incredible career, second to none.
But Coach K knows the talent that has played at Tech. He knows Dell Curry and son Seth played at Duke.
@GOS_Coach_Ron@mccrearyradio@BJosephRadio Would disagree with you on the defense part. Do you not remember his steals?
When you shoot 3's it's also not easy to get offensive rebounds. Bobby Beecher and Keith Colbert took care of that.
@mccrearyradio@GOS_Coach_Ron@BJosephRadio Thank you. Thank you.
The Curry fans need to compare Cattoor to Steph's father Dell. Had the 3 point line been available in the Metro conference it has been suggested Dell would have had more than 600 more points. He was a great shooter and team-mate. Like Magic and Bird.
@JFeinsteinBooks @BnLawn Hmm, ok. But VT does have the grad center in Falls Church too, a stones throw from Arlington, and 5mins from DC.
Notwithstanding, physical distances matter like size in square miles of states in the electoral college.. irrelevant and misleading. Plenty of happy 🏀 Hokies today.
@BnLawn @JFeinsteinBooks Remember when Jack Kent Cooke built that shiny new stadium called FedEx field? The Washington team was not the first team to sell out. Indeed it was Virginia Tech versus Maryland that packed the house. And we know how consistently the former Redskins sold out routinely. 2/2
@BnLawn @JFeinsteinBooks Hello?! A substantial, and I mean substantial amount of northern Virginia families as well as many from Maryland are Hokie nation. We have generations of VPI alumni that live and work right here in the National Capital Area. You can bet we sure feel represented. 1/2
@ScottWapnerCNBC @stephenLweiss@CNBCOvertime Actually, @SullyCNBC and many of us CNBC fans would welcome you to watch and cheer on Virginia Tech @HokiesMBB as they play Duke tonight.
Yes #7 seed in #ACCMBB basketball 🏀 tourney but miracles can happen.
@playergordon1 @RadioFreeTom@dcherring@CNN Wasted American taxpayer $$ on many things but paralyzing the result of the Mueller investigation is unforgivable. He wasn't on Team USA or Team DoJ. He was disloyal to his oath. As odd as it is TFG was right in accepting his resignation, because #BillBarr needed to be fired.
@playergordon1 @RadioFreeTom@dcherring@CNN Fairly simple. He has free speech, let him talk to his wife or dog. But no media worth their salt should give him a stage to spout worthless opinion when this guy was proven to inappropriately discharge the official functions of AG. Not only did he ignore the law, he wasted $$.
My 9yo told me there's a new 6yo Afghan boy at school who doesn't speak much English and he (my son) has been designated his reading buddy. My son read him a story and the boy repeated words he recognised like 'cat' and 'dog'. When they finished the story, he hugged my son.
@Crissie_1115630 @barry_partners @IAPonomarenko And Europe is definitely winning right now even without their armies engaged. #Putin is on their doorstep. He cannot be trusted.
@Crissie_1115630 @barry_partners @IAPonomarenko That sounds good but if Putin is not winning, the country of Ukraine certainly has won something despite the loss of so many innocent civilians and the ruins of their cities.
@WorldLuvUkraine @McFaul This exactly. And the shelling of the hospital and indiscriminate targets have changed reality.
We cannot wait. USA must do something to STOP the damage to Ukraine and its courageous people. Eventually they will be strong and a world ally for peace but they need help now. 🇺🇦
@djrothkopf But the situation on the ground, i.e. the war crimes & killing of noncombatant civilians requires the US government to change. @POTUS & @SecBlinken need to persuade Europe the time is now to aid directly, not indirectly, in the defeat of any armed aggressor assaulting civilians.
