Scenes from Mountain View High School in the 1980s.
This was Mountain View in 1988. Every kid you remember from high school is in this video. They were always there. Still there now, and somehow they'll still be there forty years from today.
1 of 9: Welcome to Great America
A Retro Bay Area Series:
The Early Days of Great America in the late 1970s.
🎡🎠🎢🎟️
In 1976, the Marriott Corporation opened Great America in Santa Clara. It represented the state of the art in theme park design and attractions at the time.
It was designed and built with a strong commitment to authentic theming, reflected in the rides, entertainment, food, merchandise, and more.
The goal was to create a top-quality experience for families to enjoy together.
If you were a kid when it opened, you eventually took your own kids there. If you can, take your grandkids before it’s gone forever.

The Tokyo Maritime Self-Defense Force Band's "Space Battleship Yamato" performance is epic! 🎶 Their passionate rendition of the iconic anime theme is truly captivating. ✨
I heard the sad news that @MTV shut down all continuous 24 music video stations after 44 years.
SO I took initiative to create MTV REWIND
I'll be constructing a massive playlist of custom youtube links to music videos for this player.
Happy New Years all🎆
Nostalgia lives!
Oregon head football coach, Dan Lanning, on Ducks super fan Charlie Kirk: “I hurt for his wife, Erika, and their kids. That sort of evil should never exist in our country. That’s what it is, evil.”
“Life matters, and I think we’ve lost sight of that.”
“If you disagree with me, if you hate me, if you don’t like me, just know this: I love you. I absolutely love you, and life matters.”
“Charlie shouldn’t have experienced that; his family shouldn’t have experienced that; there’s no way that evil should exist in this world.”
Thank you, Dan, for standing up for what’s right. Charlie, your legacy will live on forever.
East Bay friends and punk rock fans, I’m doing FOH at this show in the ‘Cord on Saturday. I’ve heard half of these bands and love the sound. Really stoked to reinforce sound at this local music throwdown. Come by and support live music!
