A ramp or a sign language interpreter doesn't give a disabled person an advantage. It gives them a way to be included.

They may not be looking at you because they need to watch the interpreter to follow the conversation, but you should still keep your attention on them. You are speaking to them, not the interpreter.

When speaking to a Deaf person who is using a sign language interpreter, please look at and speak directly to the Deaf person, not the interpreter.
