What began as an idea in a classroom at @iitmadras has grown into #HomoSEPSewer, a Manhole Cleaning Robot built to help eliminate manual scavenging, protecting lives and preserving dignity.

Even today, sanitation workers across India continue to enter manholes exposing themselves to toxic gases, hazardous waste and life-threatening conditions.

No one deserves to lose their life simply because they were trying to earn a living and provide for their family.

That is precisely why we created 𝐇𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐒𝐄𝐏 𝐒𝐞𝐰𝐞𝐫 - A Robotic 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐞 𝐂𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐑𝐨𝐛𝐨𝐭 built not only to clean manholes, but to protect human lives and preserve human dignity.

Today, HomoSEP has been deployed across 30+ cities in India. Watching what was once our vision become a reality every day reinforces our commitment.

We started with a belief: NO Human should have to enter a manhole.

And we will continue working until that belief becomes the norm.
