@realDaphneMoon @AGHamilton29 Consider there's a big gap between $7.50 and $15. Doubling the minimum wage would be a disaster because the economy doesn't respond well to sudden change. Setting a gradual increase over time and then pinning the minimum wage to inflation makes a lot more sense.

But that's how religious sects always work. Shared dogma is orthodoxy and differences are cultist heresy.

@rlh @politicalmath I spent about 3 weeks in the hospital in October due to a lymphoma diagnosis, and the no visitors policy made recovery much more difficult. I can't imagine how bad it would have been before mobile phones and video chats, but I'm certain I would've left before I was recovered.
