Le Conseil de sécurité a tenu, le 15 juillet 2026, sa 10196e séance, consacrée à l’examen de la mise en œuvre de l’Accord final de paix conclu en Colombie en 2016, à l’approche de son dixième anniversaire et dans un contexte marqué par une transition politique à la suite des élections présidentielles.
La déclaration des A3, composée de la République démocratique du Congo, du Libéria (@LibMissionUN) et de la Somalie (@SomaliaatUN), a été prononcée par le Représentant permanent de la RDC auprès des Nations Unies, l’Ambassadeur Zénon Mukongo Ngay (@ZMukongo).
Au nom des A3, celui-ci a réaffirmé que la réforme rurale intégrale et la réintégration des anciens combattants demeuraient essentielles à la consolidation d’une paix durable. Il a appelé à l’application effective des mesures foncières, au renforcement de la sécurité juridique ainsi qu’à la réalisation de dividendes tangibles de la paix dans les régions affectées par le conflit.
Il a également souligné la nécessité de protéger les anciens combattants ayant déposé les armes contre les risques de recrutement par des groupes armés, l’insécurité et toute résurgence de la violence.

The #AfricanGroupUN received a briefing on the #UNSC activities , by Amb. Mohamed Yusuf, DPR of #Somalia 🇸🇴 in its capacity as A3 coordinator for the 1st quarter of 2026.
Discussions highlighted the need to advance African priorities on the Council, accelerate the implementation of #Resolution2719, and strengthen AU-UN cooperation ahead of the annual consultative meeting in October 2026.
