The problem is that it's a PAID update to get the game to where the pS5 & Series X LAUNCHED at.

Clearly this should have been a free update or at the very least, a real cartridge and not a game key card.

The way some Sonic fans will bootlick every corporate decision Sega makes is actually mind boggling.

This might be a hot take: but I find Frontiers Definitive more disappointing than SCU, because at least Sonic Colors was NOT ALREADY ON THE CURRENT CONSOLE GENERATION

People keep finding copies of Sonic Frontiers Definitive Edition in retail stores like Walmart.

They try buying them, but, apparently, the stores are not allowed to sell them until June 23rd, which is a soft confirmation of the release date. This indicates SEGA might shadow drop the game on Sonic’s birthday.
