@mamboitaliano__ Unless you suddenly grow gills or turn to a turtle when you step in the Maldives I suggest you and anyone who visits to follow our regulations. Or at least have some respect for your own life or your loved ones.
No one listened to my advice on Friday....and now what? Where do we stand?
Still asking input from recreational dive "legends" who have no knowledge or experience in technical and cave diving.

Seeing this video of someone diving into the same cave makes the tragedy in the Maldives feel even more real. One small mistake, strong current, panic, or low visibility underwater can change everything within seconds.
Rest in peace to the victims
@p3st Absolute maximum depth allowed for dive operators is 30 meters (Maldives tourism dive regulation). Every tourist must be registered with a dive operator registered under tourism ministry. There is no diviation for this rule for technical divers.
I was referring to the annual amount here. 3,600,000 mvr. Check your dms.
We did do a sole project for the official opening of the terminal with a team of 25 photographers. Sadly lamman was not involved in any communication and no further projects with MACL.🫣
Did you get 300,000 MVR or a figure close to that from MACL?
YES or NO. @sottimaldives
Yes, I will show my face at 7.30 pm if you prove to us that you didn’t get that figure from MACL.
You got paid, then you were also referred to another SOE by Lamman. And you’re still getting paid more and more.
I’ll show my face at 6 pm Maldives time and deactivate my X account and leave permanently if you prove the Standard Maldives (your newspaper) did not receive 100,000 MVR in Dec 2025, or if this 100,000 MVR is not a total of two months.
Prove me wrong. Maldivians will see my face then @ShumbaGong
‼️🚨Breaking News
I've received MACL media sponsor list, amounts disbursed in Dec 2025.
@ShumbaGong's newspaper The Standard Maldives received 100K.
Muizzu's MMTV got 900K
And many more.
Note: Some media were paid two months in Dec 2025 cause of year ending. Some were paid half month in addition to Dec 2025 too.
This is daylight robbery.
