@TheWapplehouse “leave kids alone and let them just grow up gender non-conforming”
And then we are and then we still get no peace. Waiting for their next real-life “plan of action” like ⌚️💀
So now transphobes want men to use the women’s bathroom?
I know I say it a lot but I genuinely can’t comprehend living my life this bothered by absofuckinlutely everything
@charise_lee ICE only has the jurisdiction to make arrests outside direct illegal immigration if it involves immigration violation or if the agents are under threat.
Is throwing a firecracker near someone threatening?
Is doing anything more serious than that to a person more threatening?
People who detransition are not transgender. They may have been mistaken confused pressured or unsupported but detransition means they no longer identify as trans.
That experience matters for their own care and wellbeing. It does not give them authority over the lives healthcare or rights of the overwhelming majority of trans people who do not detransition.
A small minority experience does not get to override the needs of the majority. We do not build policy for 99 percent of people based on the 1 percent who had a different outcome.
Listening to detransitioners about safeguarding and support is reasonable. Letting them dictate whether trans people exist or receive care is not.
Trans lives are not a thought experiment. They are real and ongoing.
If this is what happened to gay people, then this is what will happen with trans people too.
For centuries, homosexuality was criminalised, erased from history and framed as a threat to society. That did not change because gay people suddenly appeared. It changed because people finally had access to information, evidence, and visibility. Once the truth was harder to hide, the law eventually followed.
The same pattern is playing out now with trans people.
Trans people did not suddenly emerge in the 21st century. Their history was systematically erased. In the Victorian era, anything that challenged rigid sex and gender norms was suppressed, medicalised, or hidden. Under the Nazis, one of the first targets was gender and sexual diversity. Research institutes were destroyed, archives burned, and people murdered. That knowledge gap was not accidental. It was enforced.
The book Burn documents this clearly. It brings together evidence from museums, medical archives, anthropology, and cultures across the world to show that gender diversity has always existed. The reason many people believe trans history is “new” is because the records were deliberately destroyed or buried.
When information is erased, ignorance fills the space. That ignorance then gets mistaken for tradition or common sense.
As with gay people, increased visibility brings backlash first. Moral panic, distorted science, and political scapegoating follow. Then, over time, facts win. Biology is understood properly. Human stories are heard. The panic fades. Laws change.
We have already seen this arc before.
The criminalisation of homosexuality collapsed once society accepted that it was neither a choice nor a threat. The same will happen with trans people now that history, biology, and lived reality are becoming harder to deny.
Progress does not come from forgetting the past. It comes from recognising the pattern and refusing to repeat it.
@daniellismore Some Lesbians, Gay men, and Bi ppl are Asexual, some are Intersex.
It is literally impossible to separate a person from themself—let alone a community from themself.
🚨 BREAKING: Donald Trump’s so-called “spiritual leader,” Robert Morris, was just sentenced to six months in prison after pleading guilty to five counts of sexually abusing a 12-year-old girl.
Six months.
This country is surrounded by predators… and the powerful keep protecting them.
@TheRabbitHole We don’t argue “social construct & variation means the category doesn’t exist.”
That’s your strawman.
Gender isn’t legs; you’re confusing social classification with anatomy—same category error as 2+2=4 arguments.
#LeaveKidsAlone but then they let this shit happen to kids.
These people. Do. Not. Care.
And we *need* to. *Actively*. Care. More. Than they evidently do.
No child should be getting physically & psychological abused by government agents.
A 17 year old child.

Child!!
This is some fucked up shit. This poor kid is going to scarred and scared for life. Especially, during this Nazi regime.
This man's heart broke during this video, and I cannot blame him. This is saddening.

@mushycrouton It didn’t start with “LGB”.
It start with the L asking the G to center L feminism—and the G refusing, leading to a schism that wasn’t restored until the AIDS crisis.
And separatism followed Bi folks who were often ostracized.
Plus, many LGB are TQ+.
So good luck, separatists
4 Oglala Lakota men kidnapped by ICE in Minneapolis have finally been located. One of them was released but the other 3 are being held at Fort Snelling, a former concentration camp used to imprison Native people incl. the Dakota 38 during the Dakota Wars. https://t.co/YwzHPdwsy6
Right wingers love to say liberals pretend to not understand things but this “can men get pregnant” shit is 100% that. No one thinks cis men can get pregnant. Trans men can. You fucking morons
BREAKING: The president of the Oglala Sioux Tribe demands that ICE immediately release three tribal members who are being illegally held at an ICE facility in Minnesota.
Now MAGA wants you to believe that Native Americans are somehow "illegal" immigrants...
“The Oglala Sioux Tribe’s memorandum makes clear that ‘tribal citizens are not aliens’ and are ‘categorically outside immigration jurisdiction,’" Star Comes Out, leader of the South Dakotan tribe stated. “Enrolled tribal members are citizens of the United States by statute and citizens of the Oglala Sioux Nation by treaty.”
The four tribal members in question were reportedly detained at a homeless encampment in Minnesota last week. Three of them were then transferred to an ICE facility at Fort Snelling while one was released.
“The irony is not lost on us,” said Frank Star Comes Out. “Lakota citizens who are reported to be held at Fort Snelling—a site forever tied to the Dakota 38+2—underscores why treaty obligations and federal accountability matter today, not just in history.”
The "Dakota 38+2" refers to the 38 Dakota men who were publicly hanged in 1862 in Minnesota in the largest mass execution in U.S. history.
“It has this really notorious anti-Indigenous, specifically anti-Dakota, history. It’s kind of like a continuation on the monopoly of violence from the military outpost to the ICE facility," Nick Estes, an associate professor in American Indian Studies, said of Fort Snelling.
Star Comes Out sent a memo to DHS Secretary Kristi Noem to inform her that her agency refused to release information about the detainees unless the tribe "entered into an immigration agreement with ICE.” In other words, DHS is trying to use these men as bargaining chips to encroach on tribal sovereignty. Star Comes Out stated that the tribe will not be entering into such an agreement.
Star Comes Out is demanding information on the three men still in detention and the release of all tribal citizens in ICE custody. He has also requested a meeting between the tribe and the administration.
This shameful incident lays bare the ugly truth about Trump's "immigration enforcement." This was never about upholding the law (something which our felon president has flouted his entire life). This was always about seizing more power with brutal boots on the ground and targeting nonwhite people.
Nobody has more of right to be in this country than Native Americans. Trump must immediately free these detainees and make restitution.
Please ❤️ and share to demand their release!
“Theory”:
Nonbinary is because a woman doesn’t feel feminine or beautiful.
If true, and being Nonbinary makes one feel beautiful, what’s the problem that isn’t yours in the first place?
My theory on "non-binary" identities:
Some women have extremely low self-esteem, which leads to them being uncomfortable with the idea of femininity. And after all, if women are supposed to be feminine beautiful, but they're not feminine & don't *feel* beautiful, they must not be women.
So they reject womanhood in favor of a more neutral label. "Non-binary." Now they don't have to deal with the associations or expectations of being a woman OR a man.
As someone who has struggled with self-esteem and body image, I understand the thought process and inclinations.
However, being a woman or man isn't something you feel or perform. It's just what you are. Putting on a suit doesn't make you a different gender.
I feel for people like Bella Ramsey, but the truth is young women not being comfortable in their own skin is nothing new or revolutionary.
