Good news, mySouthEastWater is back online.
You can now log in as normal and use available services.
Multi‑property access across accounts isn’t yet available. We’re working to restore this feature and will share updates here. (1/2)
In the meantime, you can take your containers to fill up with drinking water at a tap on hydrants at 8 Tivoli Rd, or the corner of Toorak Rd and Tintern Rd.
Thanks for your patience. @VicTraffic
There’s been a knocked hydrant and a burst water main on Toorak Rd in Toorak, one near the corner of Toorak Rd and Williams Rd, and one opposite the Rockley Gardens. Our crews are on site to fix both bursts.
If you’re travelling in the area, you might find there’s delays. We’ve got traffic management on site.
If you live or work in the area and currently don’t have water, we’re sorry. We hope to have your water flowing again soon.
A pipe has burst on Gladstone St near Montague St in South Melbourne, so we’ve got crews on site to fix it.
🚗If you’re travelling in the area, you might find there’s delays. We're sorry for the inconvenience. @VicTraffic

Melbourne’s end-of-summer water storage levels were at their lowest since 2020. With dry conditions continuing, the Minister for Water has ordered 150 billion litres of desalinated water for 2026–27.
The order will help keep water flowing to homes and businesses, making sure there’s enough for everyone as demand grows and conditions stay dry. While desalination plays an important role in our water future, we all have a part to play.
UPDATE: Tuesday 7 April 2026. Good news – water quality test results confirm it’s safe to resume normal activities at Shire Hall Beach, Mills Beach and Tanti Creek in Mornington. Thanks for your patience while we completed clean-up works and waited on results.
🚨 UPDATE 2 April - We’ve had a sewer spill at Tanti Ave, Mornington. Recent water quality sampling near the mouth of Tanti Creek indicates poor water quality. Avoid the signed areas at Shire Hall Beach and Mills Beach and avoid handling water in Tanti Creek until further notice.
🚨 We’ve had a sewer spill at Tanti Ave, Mornington, with potential overflow into Tanti Creek. We’ve contained the spill & repaired the pipe. Signs are in place until we receive water quality results. Please don't handle water in Tanti Creek in meantime. @VicGovEPA@MornPenShire
📢 UPDATE 31 March: Good news - emergency works are complete near Kerferd Rd and Danks St.
🚗Roads are open to people, bikes and cars as normal.
Thank you for your patience while we completed these works safely.
UPDATE 27 March: Thanks for your patience, Albert Park. Emergency sewer works continue near Kerferd Rd and Danks St. We’re sorry it’s taking longer than usual and for the ongoing disruption.
We’ll continue to keep the noise and traffic to a minimum and leave the area as we found it. For more information, customers can call our 24/7 Faults and Emergencies team on 13 28 12.
Because of challenging ground conditions and the 7.5-metre pipe depth, we’ve needed specialised equipment to make sure we undertake the works safely. Don’t worry – there’s still no impact to the water supply and sewer network.
