@frice102@BananaBoy215@nin10doland I do agree that for a 50 minute Direct, it was pretty light on first-party titles. But the first-party titles they did have look great, imo.
That being said, I have way too many games in my backlog, with a lot more to be added within the next year, so I'm kinda okay with that ๐ญ
@frice102@BananaBoy215@nin10doland General Nintendo Directs have always had a mix of Nintendo games and third-party titles.
Though this Direct in particular was pretty heavy on the third-party titles, they still had some good first-party titles like OoT Remake, Xenoblade, Fire Emblem, Splatoon, etc.
@frice102@BananaBoy215@nin10doland I'm not exactly disappointed, because there's a lot of cool ports coming, like Metaphor, Stellar Blade, Lies of P, etc.
But I already have those games on other platforms, so I didn't care as much about them
@BananaBoy215@nin10doland To be fair, he is right in that the first half of the Direct is port after port after port. Good ports, but ports nonetheless.
Xenoblade kinda saved the Direct for me, but was otherwise kinda meh, imo
@JohnSmithj80@idontknowalt2@347Severe@dragon_lady19@pory_leeks All I've said is that just because GTA 6 is a big release, it doesn't mean it's the only thing that will ever be mentioned in that month. Doesn't even need to be a Zelda remake, could be any good game, really.
Then here you come with "nuh uh, GTA is gonna dominate"
@JohnSmithj80@idontknowalt2@347Severe@dragon_lady19@pory_leeks I don't really care about GTA at all, so I never really see much about it outside of it being mentioned here and there when it's trending.
But it is quite ironic you speak of 'Nintendo diehards' as if you're not dieharding for GTA 6 right now lol
