The Renters’ Rights Act is finally here!🎉 This is the biggest change England’s private rented sector has seen in decades and is a huge milestone marking increased rights for tenants👏

These are the biggest changes renters will see (effective today, May 1st!):

✅End of Section 21 “No fault evictions
✅Transition to periodic tenancies
✅Rent increases limited to once per year
✅Ban on bidding wars and large upfront payments
✅Right to request a pet
