The Spelman College Museum of Fine Art presents "Ming Smith: Feeling the Future," the first solo exhibition of acclaimed photographer Ming Smith in Atlanta and at an HBCU. Don't miss this groundbreaking exhibit open from August 23, to December 7, 2024. #SpelmanArt
At the Spelman Museum, we are dedicated to exhibiting work by & about women of the African Diaspora. This was exemplified in the exhibition, Threaded. The work honored tradition & invited visitors to discover how textiles became storytelling tools and symbols of cultural pride.
We are closed for the remainder of 2023.
