@Kramaramb@conservmillen When you make a statement with a tone of distaste, it’s heavily implied that you’re against whatever it is you’re talking about.
@AmandaBThrifty @PdxAppalachian @GinnaCross Also, science shows us that a fetus doesn’t develop the ability to feel pain until the 25 week mark. Pain receptors don’t function earlier than that at all. You cannot compare an abortion to a baby living in agony after being born…
@AmandaBThrifty @PdxAppalachian @GinnaCross Pain meds often don’t alleviate 100% of pain, and agony is not always in regard to physical pain. Many babies spend the remainder of their lives hooked up to machines, unable to be held, nursed, etc. All while the parents watch helplessly.
@YMartynovs74590@gstarmike@redusa21 There are literally SO many people who choose to be surrogates without being financially rewarded for it. It’s not even remotely uncommon for the only financial arrangement to be that the maternal healthcare is paid for.
@getawayYard @gstarmike@redusa21 Plenty of people happily become surrogates, and many don’t ask for any financial gain. Speculation isn’t a valid argument lmao
@ma35418627 @JimHansonDC@EndWokeness Illegal? To be a surrogate? Women can do whatever the hell they want with their reproductive organs. We don’t need any more laws policing what we do with our bodies.
@LiberalsRBorg@dresswhisperer@argoalanliveco1@dizzle_que Hindsight is 20/20…it’s easy to figure out the logical approach to a traumatic situation when you aren’t the one in it. Unfortunately a lot of people don’t have healthy support systems, I’m not sure what the story is for her in that regard. It can be hard to reach out regardless
@LiberalsRBorg@dresswhisperer@argoalanliveco1@dizzle_que If I was sent away and refused help from the hospital multiple times, I’m not sure I would’ve reacted any differently. Being made to feel completely helpless in something as traumatic as a miscarriage would send rationality out the window.
*sigh*
While I personally don’t believe Shane should have access to children, y’all using this to attack gay men for having biological kids is fucking crazy. Reel back the homophobia I beg.
Taking care of a newborn is fucking exhausting, let the man rest 🙄
He and his partner bought this baby from one woman and rented the womb of another woman all so he could pose for a photo pretending to be exhausted on a hospital bed.
@Rachel02538259@conservmillen Because they would have their own room with the baby…it’s not hard to understand. Should he just not use the vacant bed? 🥴
@regnd@JohnKingCR@melissaxmasters@PopCrave They almost certainly have their own room with the baby (who would be constantly waking/cluster feeding). Newborn days are exhausting for everyone involved in the child’s care. He’s allowed to nap in the damn bed while he can lmao.
@jenna_eliz02@signoftimesH Again, anybody actively USING social media absolutely can and should use it to aid spreading word. A simple repost is all it takes. If you’re mentally well enough to be active on social media, you’re mentally well enough to hit a retweet button 😮💨😮💨
@jenna_eliz02@signoftimesH No you don’t have to tell anybody what you’re doing outside of social media, but everybody with social media can and SHOULD use it to amplify the voices of people impacted by war, even if it’s just reposting. Those with large platforms and strong influence especially…
@jenna_eliz02@signoftimesH This isn’t about expressing your sadness and sorrow through. It’s well within everyone’s means to spread word, donation links, campaigns, protests, etc. Even using whatever platform you have to amplify the voices of people directly impacted by war.
