"...those double-figure prices getting four places looks a fair each-way bet"

Constitution River is rated 6lb ahead of the next-best runner in this year's Eclipse on our weight-adjusted ratings ๐
Though it is his performance in the Dee Stakes at @ChesterRaces, rather than his effort in the Jockey Club, which earns him that position...

133 Golden Horn

Thank you, everyone, for your kind messages and support. A huge thank you as well to the fantastic emergency staff who looked after me.
I'm very sore and have a few broken ribs, so I'll be taking some time to rest and recover. I look forward to seeing you all again soon.

7โฃ declared for Saturday's Group 1 Coral-Eclipse at @Sandownpark ๐
- Gethin
- King's Gambit
- Saddadd
- A Boy Named Susie
- Constitution River
- Flushing Meadows
- Hawk Mountain
โ Aidan O'Brien's Constitution River and Hawk Mountain are both set to run in Saturday's Coral-Eclipse at Sandown.
The master of Ballydoyle had indicated that one or the other would run, but both will now be declared after finishing one-two in the Prix du Jockey Club last time.
โ Racing will resume at Haydock Park on Friday 7th August following the recent cancellations, after a hole appeared on the outer track during the Sandy Lane Meeting.
Fixtures scheduled for the 17th and 18th July have been cancelled, to allow time for the necessary repair works.
โ๏ธ "A whopping 9lb below his last winning mark and back to the mark off which he won his first handicap last season, making him look dangerously well handicapped..."

๐ Here are Timeform's current leading two-year-olds, following the Irish Derby weekend.
After impressing at the Curragh when opening her account at the second attempt, the Aidan O'Brien-trained ALPHA (104p) now heads the antepost markets for next year's 1000 Guineas.
โ๏ธ "Heโs too big of a price at 16/1 for me given he has the potential to take a significant leap forward."
๐ @asquith5 returns with his ante-post column, and has a couple of fancies at @Sandownpark and @NewmarketRace this weekend:

A couple of maiden winners at the Curragh at the weekend now figure prominently in the ante-post lists for the two Guineas next year.
โช๏ธ Abraham Lincoln - general 20/1 for the 2000 Guineas.
โช๏ธ Alpha - best price of 9/1 for the 1000 Guineas.
โ๏ธ "A 121 timefigure for Benvenuto Cellini, 119 for Christmas Day and 118 for Pierre Bonnard are all career bests with the runner-up performing 1lb better than he had at Epsom..."

"She gave the impression a step up in trip could unlock a bit more improvement, and should keep improving with time and experience, so looks worth chancing at appealing odds."
