Lately I’m leaning into negative hooks.
Not because I’m trying to be edgy.
Because it doesn’t feel like I’m about to sell you something.
And when the script feels less “ad" retention goes up.

I used to think the spoken hook was the whole game.
Now I check 3 things first:
does the visual stop the scroll?
does the on-screen text pull?
does the spoken line add tension/curiosity?
When all 3 line up, the CTR just hits different.
