A lot of Arsenal fans have been using this graphic to banter John Terry and Chelsea, saying they’ve finally broken one of Chelsea’s records and that next season they’ll go for 15 more clean sheets.
When I saw those comments, I just laughed. 😂
Because it looks like many of them don't really understand what they're celebrating.
Let's break it down:
📊 John Terry & Ricardo Carvalho
• 88 Premier League games together
• 46 clean sheets
📊 William Saliba & Gabriel Magalhães
• 117 Premier League games together
• 47 clean sheets
So Arsenal's partnership needed 117 games to get 47 clean sheets, while Terry and Carvalho got 46 clean sheets in just 88 games.
In simple terms, it took Saliba and Gabriel 29 extra matches just to get one more clean sheet. 😭
And that's only one record.
John Terry and Ricardo Carvalho never lost a single Premier League match they started together at Stamford Bridge between 2004 and 2010. 🥶.
We know how many matches the Arsenal duo has lost at home together 😂
So before Arsenal fans start talking about breaking records, remember that Terry and Carvalho set plenty of defensive records during their time at Chelsea.
If I start listing all of them, we'll be here all day. 😭
One extra clean sheet doesn't put Saliba and Gabriel on the same level as Terry and Carvalho.
Give Respect where it's due. 💙🏆

The dust has settled but there’s things that need to be said
Quite possibly the worst individual display from any star/main protagonist at a big club in a UCL final
- 4 passes in 80 mins
- 1 shot on goal (blocked)
- 0/4 dribbles
- less than 30 touches
I love the angle taken by @kenearlys on the Champions League final.
He’s absolutely right to dedicate so much time to how Arsenal waste time 🗑️
The drinking water and human life lines 🤣

Do you know that English teams have played 11 Champions League finals where they scored first, and they went on to win 9 of them? The only two times they lost were Arsenal in 2006 and 2026. 😂😭🏆❌
“London is going to be shut down”….”we expect 1 million people to turn up” 😂😂😂😂
I’ve seen more people like the streets for the Wexford town paddy’s day parade
The timeline. I watched the whole incident again.
45:55 corner is awarded.
46:20 (20 seconds already over added time) Saka having sauntered to the corner flag finally puts the ball down to take the corner.
Ref blows for HT.
Ref allowed the extra 20 seconds of clock time specifically for the ball to be brought to the corner, but refused to grant the additional 10 seconds it would have taken to actually execute the set piece.
Had Saka got a move on knowing they were already over added time the corner would have been taken. We're used to seeing players do exactly that, acting with a sense of urgency in such moments.
Because Saka has been drilled to dawdle like this at every corner, all season, he was unable to do anything other than that.
Arsenal got called out. Unsurprisingly they don't like it. PGMOL take note, we are paying attention.
