Today, we celebrate Yorkshire Day & Minden Day

The date goes back to the regimental anniversary of the Battle of Minden on Aug 1st where Light Infantryman, successors to the King’s Own Yorkshire Light Infantry, wore a white rose in their headdress to mark their success in battle

🐶💧 New Doggy Water Stations💧We’ve installed fresh dog water bowls at Anchorage Lane and the Goldsmith Centre to help keep our furry friends cool and hydrated. If you’re out for a stroll or a quick play in the park, your pooch can now enjoy a refreshing drink along the way.
