The 100th Little Tern nest hatched!
It’s another fantastic milestone for Yorkshire’s only breeding colony of Little Terns and a testament to the dedication of our wardens, volunteers and project partners.
Today’s sightings featured White-rumped Sandpiper and Wood Sandpiper at Kilnsea Wetlands, 2 summer-plumage Curlew Sandpiper at Beacon Ponds, juvenile Cuckoo around The Triangle and Arctic Skua north past the Sea Watch Hut. #Spurnbirds (1/2)

Our first Marsh Tit since 2010 wasn't just a great record— it came with a story.
Ringed as a nestling at Tophill Low Nature Reserve on 10 May, this young bird travelled around 30 miles before reaching Spurn. 🐦 #BirdRinging
