#IdhayamMurali Review : Brings back romantic memories of the 90’s!

My Rating : 3.25/5

If you love the 90’s Tamil cinema feel good romances, this one is for you! @AakashBaskaran rekindles that old magic & nostalgia of that era beautifully. It is also reminiscent of early Karan Johar films.

It’s a coming -of-age romantic drama about a man who cannot express his love to women in various stages of his life and finally how he finds his true love.

A knock out performance by @Atharvaamurali as the man who cannot make up his mind in love. The girls @PreityMukundan & @11Lohar are impressive. And in an extended cameo #FahadhFaasil shines.

@MusicThaman’s Music & BGM is the backbone and he also plays a crucial role. Manoj Paramahamsa camera is eye catching, especially song picturisation.

The Railway Station scene prior to interval block is heartbreaking. However for a romantic film it is stretched and should have been shorter.

Overall it’s engaging and gives you that nostalgic feel good moments.

My Rating : 3/5

A long drawn out film that is a mixture of heist, action, family sentiments and machinations of political leaders.

Story is about a common man getting accidentally involved in a heist. First half holds your interest while post interval loses steam becomes repetitive and stretched.

#Prithviraj & #Parvathy are fine along with Hakim Shah. Too many logical loopholes are left unexplained. How could a clerk in state secretariat without any formal training fight a mob single -handedly?

Strictly an average watch!
