The Park is a protected Scheduled Ancient Monument and unauthorised digging in the area is a serious offence which can lead to criminal prosecution.

As someone who loves wildlife and Hertfordshire, I can’t recommend the ‘Wild About Hertfordshire’ exhibition at St Albans Museum enough. Some beautiful bird photos and interesting facts about the species we share our local habitat with. It runs until 6 July.
