We are SO PROUD of our Senior Football Team yesterday! The boys put their hearts and souls on the pitch and played a fantastic semi-final game against Pope John Paul NS, Malahide. Unfortunately we lost in the last seconds, but that doesn’t make us any less proud of our boys!👏👏
Congratulations to our Students of the Week and Gaeilgeoirí! This week we had two very special presentations in assembly - our Green School Flag and our senior Athletics prizes! Well done everyone👏👏👏
We are delighted to have been awarded our 7th Green School Flag for Marine Environment!🥳💚🐠 Today in assembly we celebrated the great news. A huge congratulations to our very hard working Green School Committee and Ms O’Brien’s, Ms Flanagan and Ms Dunne for their hard work!👏
The 5th and 6th class athletics team had an amazing day out in ALSAA for the Fingal Cross Country Final. All of the boys did a fantastic job especially since it was their first time running 500 and 600 metres on the track! We are very proud of them 😁
After learning all about Irish wild plants and flowers in class, Ms Sweeney's 1st Class spent some time exploring the school grounds 🌼☘️ They spotted daisies, buttercups, dandelions, clover, ivy, nettles, cow parsley and more! What a fun way to spend a sunny afternoon ☀️🌱🌺
We are very excited to be hosting our set exhibition in the hall this Thursday, April 27th 🎨🖼️ Parents are welcome to view the exhibition from 1.30 - 2.45pm and 6.00 - 7.00pm 👨🎨
Ms Dunne’s 4th Class have been learning about the Māoris! They created their own Koru pendants using clay and even got to play traditional Māori games using classroom materials (normally played with sticks, stones and pebbles). So much fun!🙊🤩
Ms Flanagan’s 3rd Class had a great time in Donabate Community College last week for paired reading! The boys have been enjoying getting to know the TY students and our staff have enjoyed catching up with past pupils!☺️📖👏
Junior infants had great fun coding with beebots last week! The boys designed a trail based on the story 'We're Going on a Bearhunt'. They coded the beebot to navigate the terrain, whilst retelling the story AND used their ordinal numbers to sequence the journey too! 👏🤩
We ❤️ Science! Ms Flanagan’s 3rd Class had lots of fun building electrical circuits to power lightbulbs and motors. 💡 The boys have been practicing their procedural writing and have recorded the steps in this video! 🤩👏
Ms Gillespie’s 1st Class have been having lots of fun in maths this week! The boys are learning about length. They really enjoyed measuring different objects with cubes! 🤩
