To be needed, but never truly seen
To be loved for what you carry, not for what you are
To save everyone else, while no one remembers to save you.
@isabellayonce Being the eldest daughter means anything your family is going through becomes your prioritized issue and most times your plate is so full that you aren't left with any energy to cope up with your trauma 😫
CONFESSIONS OF AN ELDEST DAUGHTER
"Do any other eldest daughters out there experience guilt for taking time for yourself? Whenever I’m taking a nap or doing something for me, if I hear the front door open, I get startled and feel like I have to start doing something." 1/2
NOT SURE WHO NEEDS THIS BUT…
Don’t give up. God will give you the strength to move ahead. I know it’s tough and you can’t see any way out of this situation, but God can. Trust Him with everything and He will open that next door. Don’t you dare give up. He loves you.
