Spartans Smashers, a robotics team from SSMA competed in the finals of the World Robofest Championship held in Detroit, MI, in the bridge-building division against 17 countries and five US cities. We are so proud of our students for making it to the World’s.@StaffordMSD

The students ended their SSMA Summer Bridge Program led by Dr. Karen Grant with an End of Summer Showcase, Wild Out Game Day and received certificates for students of the month! @StaffordMSD

The students attended the Chimal Circus, bought items with their STEM Bucks at the STEM Store, participated in an ICODE class, competed in Field Day, took a splash in the Stafford City pool and saw the great tricks of a wonderful magician at the Summer Showcase! @StaffordMSD

The students learned Visual Arts, how to play instruments, Horton dance and Hip Hop moves, had a Scratch, Mario Kart, Hula Hoop, Jump Rope and Chess Tournament! Students were also selected as students of the week and given certificates and treat bags!@StaffordMSD

SSMA’s Summer Bridge Learning Program was held June 4-July 2, led by Summer School Principal Dr. Karen Grant. There were over 200 students that attended the summer program themed Whole Mind, Body & Heart. @StaffordMSD
