The SAVE America Act is one important step. It would require documentary proof of citizenship to register for federal elections, photo identification to vote, and stronger voter roll maintenance.

But that's only part of the solution.

The Model Election Laws Handbook outlines additional state-level election policy proposals, including:

✅️neighborhood precinct voting on Election Day
✅️ballot reconciliation procedures
✅️and other measures intended to strengthen election administration and public confidence.

Americans deserve elections they can trust.

The solutions exist. Now is the time for lawmakers to carefully evaluate them and, where appropriate, act before the next round of elections.
