🟢Durante sus Asambleas Generales celebradas en Chipre, @Standards4EU dan luz verde a su visión a largo plazo, donde expertos, usuarios y digitalización serán el motor de desarrollo para ofrecer soluciones, servicios y contenidos en los próximos años. El modelo de negocio, la propuesta de valor de esta visión se refleja en los Compromisos de Chipre, firmados por todos los miembros de CEN y CENELEC.

En este marco, Barbara Bonvissuto, directora de DG GROW informó sobre el resultado positivo del Regulatory Scrutinity Board a la propuesta que revisa del Reglamento 1025 de normalización europea. Destacó que la normalización europea (CEN y CENELEC) bajo los principios de delegación nacional, consenso y apertura, sigue siendo la opción preferida de la CE, que aboga por mayor flexibilidad y agilidad.

🔢Para ello la digitalización de los procesos y las normas aportará trasparencia, rapidez e inclusividad al sistema de normalización. Así mismo será clave encontrar el equilibrio entre accesibilidad y sostenibilidad financiera del sistema y priorizar las áreas de posicionamiento estratégico y de liderazgo de la estandarización europea a nivel internacional para contribuir a la autonomía estratégica y la soberanía tecnológica de la UE.
