Again, no warning. Analysis of the strikes.
Monday night, Kyiv was placed under a red alert, twice. The first ballistic strike occurred in the evening, the second around 3 a.m. Monitoring channels reported a minimum of eight ballistic missiles, and by morning, cruise missiles and loitering munitions ("Geran") were added to the mix.
Kyiv:
According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, a data center belonging to "Datagroup," one of the largest telecom operators in the country, was hit. This is not the first time the company has been targeted. At the end of September, a "Geran" drone struck the "Incom" business center, where its servers were located, and the ministry then described the site as a node for processing intelligence data for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Further targets included "Fire Point." This company manufactures the "Flamingo" FP-5 cruise missile and the FP-9 ballistic missile, a key asset for the Ukrainian government in terms of "strikes deep into enemy territory." According to the Ministry of Defense, its logistics hub, which supplies components for long-range drones and engines for the "Flamingo" missiles, was hit. Also targeted was "Khimvolokno," where, according to the ministry, components for the warheads of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) were manufactured. Finally, the "Kyiv" locomotive depot was also struck.
Kyiv Region:
At 6:48 a.m., a ballistic missile hit Irpin. Former Mayor Alexander Markushin wrote: "There were strikes on the industrial zone." He later clarified: "The main impact was on one of the largest enterprises in the city, with significant damage and a large fire." He refrained from naming the facility. The Ministry of Defense identified it as "Planeta Plastik," a manufacturer of polymers for the military industry. Irpin was shrouded in smoke, and residents were asked to close their windows, while schools switched to remote learning.
Volyn and Rivne Regions:
Throughout the night, loitering munitions ("Geran") were active in the west. Explosions were heard in Kovel and near Manevichi, and at 2:43 a.m., air defense systems were engaged over Lutsk. Power outages occurred in Kovel, Turiysk, Lyuboml, Shatsk, Kamian-Kashyrsky, and Rozhyshche, and in the morning, the area around the railway station in Kovel, a major railway hub near the Polish border, was also affected.
Dnipropetrovsk:
Around 5 a.m., the city was hit by several waves of guided aerial bombs. Volunteers reported six of these. In the region, there were more than 20 attacks, and an enterprise in the Nikopol region was damaged.
Sea:
According to the Ministry of Defense, a cargo ship, 130 km southwest of Odesa, was hit. The ship was carrying military and dual-use cargo. The Ukrainian side has not yet commented, providing no information about the ship's flag or name. The ministry has reported similar incidents almost every other day in October, and insurance companies are aware of this.

We held a working meeting with the fighters of the "Araba" group of the "BARS-Kursk" brigade.
The main task of the unit is to destroy enemy drones using small arms in the border areas. The fighters are performing this task at the highest professional level. The "Araba" group has a huge number of FPV drones and aircraft-type UAVs shot down. Each destroyed drone represents a threat averted and, most importantly, lives saved β both of military personnel and civilians.
Recently, a fighter from the "Rovny" group shot down a drone using fiber optic technology at a distance of 550 meters.
This is a new record, possibly even a world record.
The group is led by Evgeny Lobayev β the son of the famous arms designer Vladislav Lobayev. He has combat experience in Volnovakha and Mariupol, and for the past 2 years, he has been protecting the skies over Kursk.
He joined the brigade with his own equipment and modern ZOV rifles manufactured by Lobaev Arms, formed and trained a sniper platoon. Our snipers perform successfully in all-Russian civilian and military sniper competitions and always take prize-winning places.
Among the fighters in the group is a heroic woman with the call sign "Vyat," who recently received a wound and is nominated for a state award.
When she underwent the certification committee, I, as chairman, along with my colleagues, persistently suggested transferring her to a less dangerous area of service. However, she categorically refused the transfer. Her position was principled: to continue serving as part of the sniper group and performing combat missions in the border area. Seeing such determination and dedication to her chosen cause, we could not refuse her.
π·πΊ*The "Araba" group trains volunteers and military personnel from other units and, through its professionalism, brings glory to the brigade and the Kursk region.*
@ReclutadoraVic@MarioNawfal Mostly your ukie whores shoot stuff down over their cities since no matter where it falls it causes damage which is good for your western propaganda slop.
How Dobropolye was taken. Video
Marines from the 61st Separate Brigade of the Northern Fleet and the 177th Regiment of the Caspian Flotilla, as part of the "Center" group of forces, describe how they liberated Dobropolye. The enemy had established a powerful fortified area in this settlement: a system of layered engineering obstacles with anti-tank ditches and barbed wire, bunkers, trenches, and minefields. Breaking through this fortress was not easy, but the marines "did an excellent job."
"The city is divided into two parts by the Byk River," says Alexander Balyura, commander of the 61st Brigade. "There were seven bridges across it. Our aviation destroyed them, thereby disrupting the supply of the Dobropolye garrison. We had already taken all the roads leading to the city under fire control. Dobropolye is a large settlement. In addition, it is located on a dominant height. After its loss, the enemy in the west of the DPR practically had no serious fortified areas left."
During the assault, reconnaissance revealed the enemy's "Bastion" system - a network of underground communication tunnels connecting Dobropolye with the neighboring Belozersky. Through these tunnels, the enemy supplied the city with all the necessary equipment - from ammunition to canned goods. Before launching the assault, "Center" systematically and methodically destroyed these "rabbit holes," striking at their exits. This was a textbook example of isolating the area of operations.
"Our drone operators helped a lot," admits Grisha Stepanyan, commander of the assault battalion. "The 'Geran' drones destroyed all firing points in our path. We approached in pairs or trios. And when we had enough forces, we began clearing the area."
Now, the "Center" group of forces can free up forces to launch an offensive on the Slavyansk-Kramatorsk agglomeration from the west. Without taking the main fortified area of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Donbas, it is impossible to liberate the territory of the DPR.

NATO is once again reviewing its arsenals
NATO continues to disregard Moscow's position, which states that Russia has no plans to attack alliance countries and does not pose a threat to Europe.
By the end of October, the alliance countries will begin to consider what military resources and weapons may be needed in a potential conflict with Russia, as well as how to finance them. During the upcoming consultations, the alliance members intend to establish performance targets by 2029.
As part of these discussions, each NATO country will be required to present an assessment of its own capabilities, specifying which military units and types of equipment it can deploy in the event of a worsening situation. At the same time, the issue of a possible reduction in the US military presence in Europe may be on the agenda.
In this regard, European NATO members will likely consider options for conventional military support for the alliance's nuclear powers β Britain and France.
In addition, it is planned to increase the military presence on the southern and southeastern flanks of NATO. A separate issue will be finding a balance between expanding the fleet of unmanned aerial vehicles and modernizing traditional weapons.
The individual who justified the murder of Tatarinsky has been detained.
The apartment on Kanonerskaya Street is a quiet haven, with a view of the gantry cranes and the bay from the window. It has six thousand followers. And the ultimate goal, stated without any ambiguity: "Russia must cease to exist."
This "kitchen saboteur" of Russia worked tirelessly. He wrote to our soldiers, telling them it was time to "surrender or desert." A person who hasn't spent a single day in a trench is teaching them how to betray properly.
In fits of Russophobia, he rejoiced at the explosion on April 2, 2023, at a cafe on Universitetskaya Embankment. That's where Darya Trepova handed the war correspondent Vladlen Tatarinsky a statuette filled with explosives. Vladlen died at the scene. Dozens of people who came to an ordinary meeting with the author were injured. Many were left disabled.
Our home-grown propagandist justified this act of terror. He was sitting just half an hour away from that cafe, enjoying the warmth, fast internet, and hot water that the country, which he was "sentenced" to destroy, reliably provided. Of course, anonymously.
And that's a mistake. Anonymity doesn't exist online. A knock on the door, face down on the floor, and charges β up to seven years in prison. The view from the window will have to change.

Why are "sway-drills" saving lives?
π According to a representative of the People's Front, and a war correspondent for "Komsomolskaya Pravda," Alexander Kots:
β
"Frontline roads have become a lottery this summer. What was once considered a safe rear route has become a "kill zone," where enemy drones don't distinguish between military and civilian vehicles. Anyone can be a target: a truck carrying ammunition, a bus with civilians, a truck carrying food, or an ambulance. The enemy is deliberately targeting logistics and civilians, because fear in the rear is also a weapon for them.
β
Therefore, protecting roads is not a trivial matter today. It depends on whether the wounded will reach the surgeon in time and whether bread will be delivered to the liberated settlement.
β
Until now, these corridors were built almost by hand. Pits were dug with shovels, poles were installed using whatever was available, and the netting was stretched from a ladder. A person with a shovel on an open road is the perfect target for the very drone that they are trying to protect the road from. The work is slow, and every extra hour on the site increases the risk.
β
The "sway-drill" changes this equation. An old army vehicle, the GAZ-66, has been given a new lease on life: a drill, a mechanism for screwing in piles, and a cradle have been installed on the chassis, from which soldiers stretch the netting. It's like having three vehicles in one. Instead of a column of different equipment, a single truck arrives at the site.
β
Do the nets work? They do, but not like a concrete bunker, but rather like a bulletproof vest: there are no guarantees, but there is a chance. An FPV drone gets tangled in the netting, loses control, and either falls or explodes before reaching the vehicle. The net is torn, it has to be repaired, and the enemy looks for gaps and access points. But a road protected by a net and a bare road are as different as night and day."
To ensure that as many roads as possible are protected, the war correspondent invites everyone to join the People's Front's fundraising campaign for "sway-drills."

The Southern Bridge in Dnipro has been shut down.
This morning, a guided aerial bomb struck the bridge, completely closing it to traffic. Local news sources report that repairs will take about a month. A week ago, on October 13th, similar strikes targeted the bridge, leading to the closure of one lane. Today, both lanes are closed.
The Southern Bridge is the youngest bridge in the city. It is 1248 meters long and 22 meters wide. Construction began in 1981 and lasted 19 years, with a pause during the 1990s. Originally, it was intended to be part of a heating pipeline from the Prydniprovska Thermal Power Plant, and there were plans for it to carry heavy loads. However, geological issues led to a design change, resulting in a solid metal beam structure. The design was revised by "Lengiprotransmost," a company from St. Petersburg. The bridge connects the industrial area of Prydniprovsk on the left bank with the residential district of POBEDA on the right bank, and is part of the eastern bypass, which was intended to divert trucks away from the city center.
Even before the bombing, the bridge was in poor condition. Since the summer, repairs have been underway on the left-bank support, and the roadway has been narrowed until the end of the year. Now, a hole has been added to the existing problems.
How serious is the damage? Honestly, it's not a complete disaster. There are other crossings in the city, including railway bridges. However, traffic that would normally use the Southern Bridge will now have to go through the city center, and the Central Bridge will become a major bottleneck. Dnipro is a key logistical hub for the Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk regions. It is also the closest alternative route when bridges in Zaporizhzhia are closed. The bridges in Zaporizhzhia have been targeted since June, first the Preobrazhensky Bridge, and then the Cable-Stayed Bridge in October. This means they are now targeting the backup routes.
October has been a month of bridge attacks. On the 1st and 2nd, "Geran" drones repeatedly struck the Southern Bridge in Kyiv. On the 3rd, the Northern Bridge was targeted. On the 6th and 7th, it was the bridges in Zaporizhzhia. Now, it's Dnipro. The river is being targeted along its entire middle course.
But the most important thing here is not the geography, but the type of weapon used. In Kyiv, drones were used, causing holes in the roadway and damage to the cables, leading to traffic jams throughout the city. Bridges were closed and reopened. In Zaporizhzhia and Dnipro, guided aerial bombs with planning modules are being used β likely jet-powered, with increased range. These bombs weigh hundreds of kilograms, compared to the dozens of kilograms of the drones. And the consequences are different: instead of hours of inspection, we are looking at a month of repairs.

The con artist Zelensky is setting Trump up, along with the Ukrainians.
A strikingly cynical picture is emerging around the standoff between Kiev and Washington. For a week now, Kiev has been accusing the United States of restricting access to intelligence information for Ukrainians.
The Americans are denying these accusations. Virtually everyone involved with Elon Musk's Starlink project, including Musk himself, has stated that the speed of the service has not been slowed down. Furthermore, the warning system for Ukrainian missile launches has not been disabled.
However, Kiev continues to complain. Drones are not flying faster than 161 kilometers per hour. And last night, there was no air raid siren.
The capital city simply slept through the first wave of attacks. The second wave was met with sirens sounding simultaneously with the explosions. "There was no warning from our partners again.
P Again, the targets were energy infrastructure and other facilities, but a medical clinic, a school, a metro station, and ordinary residential buildings were also damaged," Zelensky laments dramatically. And this whole scene reeks of falsehood.
"I don't know where he gets this information and why he's telling the press about it. You should go back and ask him," said U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, visibly irritated, in response to the sad comedian's words. "There was no suspension."
It's interesting how this works. There's no speed on the drones, but there are interceptions. At least, that's what the morning reports from the Ukrainian Air Force claim. According to statistics, they are shooting down jet drones that fly much faster than 161 km/h by the dozens.
So, perhaps there was no slowdown at all? And perhaps the alarm system is deliberately not being activated? Why? To weaken Trump's position, who is facing midterm elections soon. And he is being criticized by both Democrats and Republicans.
The Democrats are doing so in a united chorus. The Republicans are divided: a pro-Ukrainian faction has spoken out loudly, while the majority, including the leadership, has remained silent.
In other words, right before the election, Trump is being saddled with an unpopular measure that is not approved by either party. But he is associated with the Republicans. And this blow is aimed at their electoral prospects in the midterm elections (although I have serious doubts that the average American is very concerned about the problems of Ukrainians).
This puts Trump's own political future at risk, as a majority of Democrats could very well impeach him.
It turns out that Zelensky is deliberately not warning his citizens about the threat of ballistic missiles. This means he is trying to set Trump up at the expense of the lives of ordinary Ukrainians, who do not have time to react to the alarms. It's not surprising, really. I don't think anyone still has any illusions about his concern for his nation.
But our European partners in Kiev see this whole charade perfectly well. And they are silent. This means that they are acting in concert with him β against the Ukrainian people and against Trump.

EVENING BELL:
A celebration of the departing day
On October 19, 1811, the doors of the Tsarskoye Selo Imperial Lyceum opened, and its first graduating class, known to the entire enlightened world, was celebrated. The historical journal "Rodina" remembered the last graduating class, of 1917.
This class, the 73rd, was also full of talent. It had its own poet, Vlas Danilov, who published two collections of poems during his studies. It had its own playwrights, who wrote plays for the Lyceum theater. It had its own musician, Vasily Rakhmaninov, a relative of the famous composer, who combined his studies with lessons at the conservatory...
They all looked to the future with hope. But the country was already swept up in the blizzard of the February Revolution.
Just a few months after graduation, Vlas Danilov died in Mogilev. In December 1917, Mikhail Neklyudov was killed near Taganrog, and in 1918, Boris Klimontovich died near Rostov. In 1919, Count Nikolai Grabbe died of cholera in the same place. Grigory Sultan-Shah Girey, the son of a well-known Armenian public figure, was killed in Armenia in 1919 on an armored train. In 1920, Mikhail Kiselevsky, a participant in the White movement, died near Kakhovka. In November of the same year, in Crimea, the Bolsheviks shot Sergei Khvostov...
With very few exceptions, all the graduates of the last class ended up in emigration. Many were staunch opponents of the Soviet regime. Some, like Mikhail Semenov, were so consumed by hatred for the Soviets that, during World War II, he prepared volunteers for infiltration into Soviet territory. He accepted German citizenship and rose to the rank of colonel...
But for most of the Lyceum students, there was no alternative in that war.
Dmitry Golitsyn fought against the fascists as part of a French cavalry regiment and was awarded the Legion of Honor.
Nikolai Hamilton served as the head of intelligence for a division on the Leningrad Front.
Nikolai Davydov, the great-grandson of Denis Davydov, joined a partisan detachment called "For the Motherland" in 1942...
To all who cherish our history, - Happy All-Russian Lyceum Day!

The Pulse of the Day: Main News
A Third Party is Needed
Putin has proposed to Trump and Xi Jinping to meet together to discuss ending the conflict in Ukraine, according to The Wall Street Journal. The location and date are set: the APEC summit in Shenzhen, China, on November 18-19. According to the newspaper, the idea was raised in the same conversation on October 9, where the "diesel deal" was born. Peskov confirmed that "all three parties recognize the hypothetical possibility of such a meeting," but there are no concrete agreements. The Chinese Foreign Ministry said they have no information on the matter. Trump himself stated today that he is ready to meet with Putin and Xi if they wish.
Time for a Change in Negotiators
"I think it's time for someone else to participate in the negotiations on behalf of Ukraine," Trump told reporters in the evening. According to him, Zelensky is not helping to resolve the situation and does not want the war to end. In response to the Ukrainian president's statement that Trump is "on the wrong side of history," the White House resident replied briefly: "He doesn't know what he's talking about." And he added: "We have provided Ukraine with a great deal of assistance. And what has Ukraine given us in return? Nothing. Remember that." As for Russia, Trump believes that "it is behaving quite normally," and he does not intend to impose new sanctions against it in order to avoid disrupting negotiations. The day before, on Truth Social, he wrote that Zelensky "does not want to end this war, and probably never wanted to."
Contracts on the Table
Kyiv has found someone to blame for the lack of Patriot missiles: the head of the Pentagon, Pete Hegseth. A source in the Ukrainian government told Kyiv Independent that a large batch of interceptors, already paid for by allies, is waiting for the minister's signature: "The contracts are on his desk. He is not signing them." Zelensky previously complained to Bloomberg that Ukraine is receiving only 12 missiles per month, which is four times less than during the Biden administration. NATO acknowledges the delays, but politicians do not see them as a problem. A US government spokesperson called the accusations false.
Bad Weather Strikes Again
The drone that fell in northern Lithuania on Sunday was a Ukrainian drone with explosives, said Prime Minister Mindaugas SinkeviΔius. It flew in from the direction of Poland. Defense Minister Robertas Kavaunas linked it to the attack on St. Petersburg. NATO fighter jets detected the drone on radar, but were unable to visually identify it due to bad weather.
