World Oceans Day
Wales has a vast marine area (= to Germany) with ENORMOUS potential for offshore wind and wave energy.
If 🏴 Wales controlled the resources it would also create jobs, and build a more prosperous future for Wales.

Huge thanks to our emergency services, whose heroic efforts ensured no one was harmed during the major fire at Tata Steel in Port Talbot.
I am very grateful for their outstanding service and commitment.
A campaign calling on the UK government to investigate and monitor British nationals who served in the Israeli army during the Gaza genocide has gained public support, with Green Party leader Zack Polanski among more than 60 signatories to an open letter published by Declassified UK and the International Centre of Justice for Palestinians (ICJP).

BREAKING:
Israel just dropped bombs on an ambulance in Chour, South Lebanon — assassinating 2 paramedics.
Not fighters. Not a military base.
Just medics trying to save lives.
Israel has now killed over 135 paramedics in Lebanon in less than 3 months.
Proud to make my first contribution in the Senedd chamber today, raising concerns about GP services in Wales and the challenges of recruiting and retaining doctors.
Access to local healthcare remains a key priority for communities across Afan Ogwr Rhondda.

🚨Plaid Cymru promised to stand up for Wales.
In government, we’re already making progress on getting the fairness Wales deserves from Westminster 🏴
I was recently on a panel with a senior Welsh Reform politician and we were asked about devolving the Crown Estate.
He said that Wales shouldn't have more powers because "we are not very good in Wales at being efficient in running things".
There are a few points I would make about the comment:
1. There are legitimate arguments for not devolving the Crown Estate. I chronicle them in my book. I do on balance believe it would be better for Wales if it was devolved (or at least the money from it was sent directly to Wales) but it is not inherently “anti-Wales” to be hesitant about the devolution of the Crown Estate.
2. However, the argument that “we are not very good in Wales at being efficient” is one of the most infantile descriptions of a nation I have ever heard, especially coming from a man/party who claimed they wanted to lead that nation. The idea that Wales and the Welsh are uniquely incapable of running something illustrates a level of self-hate and lack of confidence that we need to shed. It’s a narrative that holds us back more than almost anything.
3. Nothing says “I don’t think we will ever run the Welsh Government” like this statement. If Reform really believed they would one day have the levers of government at their disposal, they wouldn’t be so quick to deny Wales having them.
This was HEARTBREAKING
Dr. Tanya Haj-Hassan, who volunteered in Gaza, exposed Israel:
"I held a lifeless child in my arms. There was no equipment to save him. This is not a war; it is a massacre of the innocent."
In 1982, Israel bombed the Beirut airport.
The Lebanese were trapped as the IDF marched into Beirut, massacring thousands of civilians.
Hezbollah didn’t exist.
