@OC_TranspoHelps Last time it tried it didn't work. Your office could not hear me and was annoyed at what they thought was a nuisance call. Do you do any maintenance on those boxes?
#Bayviewwatch It's scorched earth by @ottawacity. Heavy equipment and city pickup use #ottbike path for access. Hole in fence for excavator from its parking spot? "No, not our fence". Better to damage and obstruct a path than damage a fence?
Rosemary Counter in @globebusiness delights in the profit to be made from art. There's an error in what may be an attempt to be folksy. You say capital gains tax means "hand over half his proceeds". What you should say is half his proceeds will be taxed.

About $190,000 / year. A lot better and more secure than most jobs, and the possibility of making more money complaining and blaming while collecting generous retirement benefits.
Do I ask for a refund of checked baggage charge? @AirFranceCA cleverly showed that using their website and automated services is unreliable and torturous. I won't go in search of more frustration.
After good experience with @AirFranceCA last few years I was disappointed this year. No enforcement of rules, personnel very rushed, early arrival instructions useless: they were last minute for everything. Website erroneous, but extremely competent telephone help to correct.
I made this trip again. @FlyYOW improved immensely. All the checkpoints were reasonably staffed, and more than one employee showed up at baggage claim before it ended! I now rate our airport acceptable even if it isn't up to standards of others I've used.
Again @FlyYOW is an embarassment. International flight arriving is slow to unload, slow through customs, extremely slow baggage claim. Huge lines at final @CBSANOR point, one person checking. Arguments in lines about order, no airport personnel until line almost finished.
Gus Carlson in his latest @globeandmail column about leftist nitwits says grocery margins are 3%. Loblaws retail profit (not just margin) was 31%. As a Loblaws stockholder I know they aren't surviving on 3% margins or "backbreaking" costs.
Somerset/Preston, #autowa. MB needs to be ahead of stop line blocking crosswalk (picture long after I crossed). Backed up a few cm to let me cross then back to blocking. Turned left in front of NB cars before green, so he needed that position to get a head start.
@OttawaCitizen It's the former mayor and former Transit Commission chairman. It's too bad they were more interested in road repairs than LRT construction.
I made an amazing discovery about @OC_Transpo Confed line trains on Sunday. The door buttons can be used! During my wait at Tunney's passengers could open doors as needed, leaving the train nice and warm and comfy!!!
I think of @NCC_CCN as a federal land manager. In the @globeandmail today they are called a "Crown-affiliated developer". That definition means trouble for nature on NCC managed land.
