@ClaySpreading@LiddellClaying Depends completely on soil type. Have done a lot at 200t this year looks to be ok for shallow sand. Have done a lot with buckets in the past at 350-500 some deep sand still not enough but anything with some structure that rate is far too much! hoping to Vr 100-500t
@farmagro1 We have one the same as the pic sensation bit if kit!ours has had a flogging, cleaning up blue gum country, an old free range pig farm, and together with the reefenator rocky ridges dam sites clay pits ect nothing better for final trim work!
@ipaddockapps Would go again I like it nothing more satisfying than watching each nozzle turn off in a triangle have a kiss system on the other nitro 10 section boom not that I’ve done the maths but it always sprays those few extra ha in each paddock.
@BradMclean90 Telehandler useless in the paddock ok for little trees and sticks no good for big stuff rocks or shifting decent amounts of dirt or gravel. Big loader is clumsy in the sheds doing fert and grain or little jobs. 🤷
@nathanlcrosby @farmagro1 Yep don’t put big lights out of that factory fuse will melt every time! Best to run lightforce harness to battery and if they don’t have a fuse put twin in line fuses. can’t flow enough current through a single
@MerrettContract We swath at 12-14kph seems to be a nice speed in a 2t average conola crops unless it gets wet then we knock off makes everything gummy under the mats then they slip like shit. Hope that all helps
@MerrettContract Definitely a Mac don front keep the drive rollers in good nick we run a no choke topless finger completely eliminated knife blocks. Pulled out cross auger off last year made no difference for us 1 less moving part to break. Screw the nv1 valve out a few turns to speed up the lift
@MerrettContract Also if your running a nitro with a secondary pump that is recommended keep a close eye on the runner coupler between engine and pump always fail we change ours every year without fail. Always start the front at slow speed dial turned rite down. Other than that awesome bit of kit
@Iain78225333@DuncanBurt5 Yeah fair enough. I’ve found it to be a fine line setting up for curves hard to make it aggressive enough to stay on the line without putting too much whip in the booms. I’m sure it could be done but a job for someone smarter than me 🤯
@Iain78225333@DuncanBurt5 What’s the reason for using 4 wheel steer? We have it to it’s awesome but only use it for in crop spraying and swathing it’s a very quick way to destroy booms of you have a slight brain fade.
