🇨🇳 🇦🇺 SERIOUS MILITARY INCIDENT

Just one week after PM Albanese went to Beijing to hold court with Xi - the Chinese Navy has attacked and injured Australian Navy divers with sonar pulses.

This occurred last Tuesday when Australian divers were trying to remove fishing nets from HMAS Toowomba's propellers.

Toowoomba was in international waters inside of Japan’s Exclusive Economic Zone when the Chinese approached.

Toowoomba had warned nearby ships they were heading underwater to clear her propellors of fishing nets.

When the divers were underwater PLA-Navy destroyer DDG-139 closed in.

Toowoomba warned DDG-139 to keep clear.

DDG-139 recieved the message but it ignored it. Then began operating it's hull-mounted sonar.

The divers had to abort their operation and exit the water.

Tests showed they sustained minor injuries from sonar pulses.
