Smith is a 6’6” physical pass-catcher who accounted for 62 receptions for 849 yards and seven touchdowns in 2024 in his final college season at Nevada.

Originally from Kennedale, Smith was signed by Tampa Bay as an undrafted free agent in 2025 but spent his rookie season on IR. He was released in April.
