Another awesome night for the SRC as our motley crew took to the streets of Stocksbridge on our annual Halloween fancy dress run. A great turnout once again organised by our amazing social secretary Narni.

Monday club night, due to a lot of racing lower than normal numbers but massive thanks to Tim and Nicola for taking the club night.

Club run tonight 6:30 again from Bracken Moor. Tim is leading the 10K group and Nicola is back for 8K. Don’t forget high vis and a torch.

We had a trio of runners finish the Yorkshire Marathon, Narni Fulford smashed her 4 hour goal, Nick Wright kept it quiet from everyone and ran just over 4 hours and Jolene Allen made her marathon debut & set a club F45 record in doing so

Making it a hat trick of personal bests in as many weeks was Molly Hayes who ran 77:41 for 10 miles

Also braving the conditions was Jennifer Elsegood who ran the second quickest time at the half marathon by a lady at the club running 1:44 up in Northumberland

Also doing 10K was the beautiful trio of Amy Hutchinson Heather Lindley and Victoria Patterson who did the Yorkshire Coast 10K, storm what storm

Well done to Val Vernon who raced the Duxford Dash 10K (the planes look amazing)

A nice turn out considering races over the weekend and the man flu going round. Next week it's back to Bracken Moor. Then in two weeks it is our Halloween Fancy Dress Run from Fox Valley.

Well done to Rachel Howard on doing the SY Cross Country at Norfolk Park. 3 races left Longley Park, Penistone and Graves. 8K for ladies and 10K for the men. £2 a race a bargain.

A massive well done to both Jonathan Page and @NephrogeNick who did the Ladybower Ultra. You only have to look at the profile on Strava to know how brutal that race was.. Credit to both chaps in stunning times.
