@Marti_Raz @KeiranPawlak @Rainmaker1973 They didn’t. Armor was still used by those that could afford it up until world war 1 even.

The thing is that ‘good’ armor is extremely expensive and has to be updated to keep up with firearms. It’s cheaper just to hire a bunch more guys with guns than one heavy boy.
