I’m in the McDonald’s drive-thru today and the young cashier who ALWAYS greets me with the sweetest energy opened the window looking completely defeated. 🥺 I asked if she was okay and she quietly said, “It’s just not a good day.” I didn’t ask questions, just told her I hoped it got better and pulled off. But something in my heart wouldn’t let me leave it there, so I went to the store, grabbed some roses, came BACK, skipped the speaker and pulled straight to her window. 🌹😭 I handed them to her and said, “I don’t know what you’re going through, but I wanted you to know “I” noticed.” 🥺Whoever her parents are, they raised a beautiful young lady because she’s always so kind to me, and today I just wanted to pour some of that kindness back into HER. Sometimes you don’t need to know somebody’s story to show them love. Good people need somebody to be good to them too. ❤️🌹

Today was the day my mom died 7 years ago due to terminal cancer.

59 years old and she still had so many plans… so many things she wanted todo. She wasn’t able to see me get married, have kids or make a proper life for myself. I haven’t done those things yet and I sort of dread doing them now because she won’t be there. I lost apart of myself when she died. The sad part is that I didn’t even realize it was the day of her death until my sister mentioned it. Because I’ve been so busy… it made me burst out in tears just now.

I miss you mom, I love you and miss you so fucking much that if I could I’d drop the world to see you again. Fuck cancer and fuck the US health care system. Specifically city of hope out here in LA. I still have lots of anger in my heart about it all but I put it to the side because life keeps going. The world doesn’t stop when you die… nothing does.

Mom I hope wherever you might be now know that I love you and I hope whatever you may be you can feel that.

Give your moms a hug and kiss and cherish them because you never know when you can’t see them anymore. Life is short so live it to the fullest ❤️
