They will not halt, they will not consult. They have a vision for independent travel in London and it excludes blind & elderly people. These policies & schemes are designed primarily by & for affluent non disabled men🚴🏾♂️🚴🏾♂️💨and adversely impact the most vulnerable in society👩🏾🦽🧑🏾🦯🧑🏾🦼
There was a pledge signed by two Green councillors at a Barton House community day.
The watered down pledge of ‘we’ll consult everyone’ is such an insult to what the Greens said when in opposition.
This is what happens when cyclists desire for speed is prioritised above pedestrian safety. 🚴♂️🚴♂️🚴♂️💨💨
For years cyclists complained about being bullied by motorists and now cyclist lobby groups have the ear of politicians, what do they do, they bully pedestrians. 🚶♀️🧑🦽👩🦯🧑🦼
In opposition, the Greens pledged to comply with Barton House requests for rehousing. Barry Parsons was one of those Greens.
In power, they have sidled away from carrying out the commitment.
@AudreySuzanne @Shabanali_1 @BristolCouncil@ASPolice@bristolgreen Certainly backfired at today's WECA meeting - see around minute 26 when Dan Norris tells Yony Dyer to talk to Melissa Topping

NHS
- there is no capacity to accommodate the population growth
- failure to provide an appropriate contribution would place unsustainable pressure on local healthcare infrastructure
They profit. We pay the price. But here in Bristol, we’re taking back control. Community-owned renewables put power where it belongs – with people, not polluters.
The future is local. Check out what we’re building in our city:
