Pre LTN estimated hourly traffic flows on weekdays from 4PM to 7PM. Note the purple sections within the LTN and on boundary roads. I have counted sometimes 300+ motor vehicles going through what was the Valley Road roundabout (at the jnct with Gleneldon Rd) in a 15-minute period.

I think an issue with Labour-run Lambeth is that they don't sufficiently engage with or have regard for feedback from local residents and businesses. This seems particularly true for LTNs, CPZs and housing decisions.

It would be great to know Lambeth Green's policies on LTNs.
It would be great if the Greens had a policy on LTNs which recognised that traffic is displaced - it doesn't all disappear - and can result in greater pollution and congestion outside an LTN. Displacement impacts need to be carefully measured. Residents, businesses and services..
