A great article from https://t.co/4i3C9bZw1x that talks about making teacher reflection meaningful & a lot of the same points as Chapter 11! John Dewey’s famous quote “We don’t learn from experience. We learn from reflecting on experience.”

Shout out to @StrasserAbbie for earning the Content Quest badge in #dsumath. Content knowledge is important. In math it can lead to more problem solving, spending more time on math, asking better questions, and having more confidence when teaching the subject. Nice work!
Joining forces with House Valyria during the Technology/Diversity Conference! Biggest take away: For ELL students you have to “GREET-TEACH-REACH” & create sentence structures for them to speak full sentences!!!!
Q7: One closing activity that i find super fun is called "Snowstorm". Students write down what they have learned on a piece of paper and wad it up. Then on the count of 3, they throw the paper up in the air. Each student picks up a nearby ball and reads it outloud!

A5: One way to help get over "bumps" in the road for learners is to relate it to your life so they know that it happens to everyone. Always tell them that bumps in the road will help them in the long run and make them stronger.

A3: Kids need to know that they have a voice and feel important. Teachers need to make that connection with each student to make them feel welcomed!

A2: Having to keep up to date with all the changes in the educational systems. The education program is growing and it is important to always stay on track with what is new in the world to better your classroom!
