Why is the City of LA wasting taxpayer dollars doing the most expensive option, especially when itโs broke?
Itโs time to stop this nonsense.

What if you could safely bike from the ocean to DTLA through the job-rich westside?
We identified the 10 gaps preventing that from being possible, and how to fix them.
Let's get it done! Stay tuned for how you can help.
"In an apparent attempt to avoid complying with accessibility and multimodal requirements, L.A. City is now repaving streets in well-off suburban neighborhoods. Many of these streets are already in good condition."

Forest Lawn's road safety project was supposed to go in the ground next week but @MayorOfLA intervened.
Isn't it a conflict of interest for cemeteries to oppose a road safety project? Why is Bass listening to them instead of @LADOTofficial?

While we await more results, we are excited to congratulate the first batch of SFA-endorsed candidates who won outright last night!

โโฆthe infrastructure costs of building new homes in areas near โexisting jobs, stores and transitโ compared to building them on the outskirts of cities. The study concludes that the former comes with an average savings of $21,000.โ

Penny wise, Pothole Foolish.
โAccording to the cityโs own measurements, 60% of its streets were in good condition a year ago. Now itโs 53%.
The cityโs crumbling roads lay bare the costs of the cityโs addiction to band-aid budgeting.โ

The EU is making it easier than ever to ditch the car keys and hop on your bike.
The upcoming World Bicycle Day on Wednesday is the perfect occasion to do so.
With our European Declaration on Cycling, we are committed to boosting this experience for you:
We won! Two bad e-bike bills are dead and our sponsored e-bike bill, SB 1167 by @Cblakespear rolls on.
Thank you to everyone who called their legislators and a very big thank you to @BuffyWicks!
If you live in LA County, we also endorse the following candidates for being strong champions of bus, rail, and bike infrastructure:
@JohnEricksonWH for SD24

๐จONE WEEK LEFT TO VOTE ๐จ
Letโs build a City and State with real mobility options! These candidates are champions of safe streets, better transit, clean air, and building more housing
Voter Guide ๐งต
For Governor, @TomSteyer wants to unwind California from the stranglehold of the car and oil lobbies. He is a progressive who wants to deliver more housing and better mobility options across the State.
Our sponsored bill SB 1167 (@Cblakespear) just passed unanimously out of the CA State Senate ๐
This bill clamps down on illegal e-motos being sold as โe-bikesโ - ensuring that consumers are buying devices that meet legal safety standards.
In the 1920s, LA had the largest rail system in the world! When we dismantled it, we also gave away the space it took up to cars.
As a result, some of our streets are overly wide, often with dangerous slip lanes.
Itโs time to reclaim this extra space for people.
Imagine a huge amount of new green space along San Vicente, converting former red car space to a massive new linear park. That's the vision of San Vicente Park.
