@KristanHawkins Yes, Cain was a victim. He was angry maybe even scared. He's the victim. The death of Abel is tragic, but won't somebody at least just consider for the fact what Cain was feeling? He could've been forced to do it. /s
@FoundersMin@Brian_Sauve Made the list. 👀
The only thing that would make this more perfect is Psalm 2 from the 1650 without instrumental accompaniment. 😊 ♥️
Yikes, yes the reaction from Pro-Israel folks is cringy. What would Fuentes on HardMen look like?
Separately, it seems a lot of folks in this new conservatism group are fine aligning with Papist to destroy leftism. @haymes_joshua himself has said this. Wouldn't the eventual next step be to destroy them next? How do we reconcile this (the joining ourselves of God's enemies) with what the prophet Jehu told King Jehoshaphat? IDK if this has been throughly discussed amongst the Calvinistic Protestant Right. Unless I missed it.
Charlie,
Today would have been your birthday.
And while you now live beyond time
where the years no longer need to be counted,
we who still walk within its limits
mark our own lives today by the impact you’ve left on us.
I wish today were filled with laughter, joy, and celebration..
celebrating another year of your life.
Instead, through tears and gratitude,
we celebrate the life you lived.
Yours was a life so well lived, Charlie.
A life of deep, holy, conviction and bold, selfless courage.
You poured yourself out for others in your living…
You left the world with its eyes turned toward Jesus in your dying…
The greatest aim and ultimate goal of every believer.
I miss you deeply.
There’s an ache that words can’t touch.
But beneath that ache…
There is hope.
The hope of heaven and the promise that this separation is not the end.
The hope that one day, when I’m called home, and time and sorrow cease,
I’ll see my beloved Savior.
And I’ll see you again.
I can’t wait to see you again.
Until then, your legacy…
HOW you lived here…
remains.
Not only in your work and what you faithfully built,
but in the hearts you stirred toward faith, liberty and its source -
Christ.
Thank You, God, for the gift of Charlie’s life.
Thank You for the eternal hope that anchors ours.
“For we know that if our earthly tent, which is our house, is destroyed,
we have a building from God,
a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.”
2 Corinthians 5:1
“Be faithful unto death.
And I will give you the crown of life.”
Revelation 2:10
@BobTheBaptist I worshipped at a 1689 church and one of the members had socialist leanings from his time in growing up in a European country. But I guess we all have those to some degree.
Ever get lost trying to line up all the kings, prophets, and books of the Bible? This chart gives a bird’s-eye view of how it all fits together... and ultimately pointing to the true King, Prophet, and Priest - Jesus Christ.
