Mapledurham 10 miles yesterday. Second year I’ve entered. A fantastic event, mulled wine & mince pie at the end, well worth it! @UKRunChat@BarnesFitness@msteventsltd
I feel so grateful to be back running after 4 months off due to injury. I'm in week 5 of being back, I've missed this so much. Nothing like a dark rainy morning to get out there and make a positive start to the day!

Really pleased with this, first HM since 2019. It has taken a long time to get back to this distance, with stops and starts along the way, but the hard work since June is paying off. #ukrunchat
Completed the #mapledurham10 10 miler today. It was challenging and muddy. So glad to have done this after dropping out of the 2019 event with injury. This one meant a lot! Thanks @msteventsltd for such a great event today!
Cholsey 10k yesterday. 58:31. First event since 2019, so pleased to have done it, had an amazing time! Massive thanks to Alexa @OnTheRunHealth for the bespoke plan, advice & encouragement that got me back to this distance injury free! #ukrunchat
@OnTheRunHealth The exercises I did while injured and the focus on recovering in better strength shape than before the injury really spurred me on. I also marshalled at a race to keep myself involved, and my spirits up.
@OnTheRunHealth I was out for 6 months and found that focusing on other exercise that was possible really helped. I did some upper body strength work, and low intensity stuff like squats and bridges that worked without aggravating my injury. 1/2
