Love after 25 is different. You’re not looking for sparks. You’re looking for stability, kindness and shared goals. You’ve outgrown games and butterflies. You’re craving peace, emotional safety, and someone whose future aligns with yours.
What should my first car be in Uganda?
Your first car should not be the car you want. It should be the car that teaches you!
Most first-time buyers make this mistake. They stretch their budget for something that looks the part to them. Then they learn to drive, park, judge distances and survive Kampala traffic with something expensive and easy to damage. The first scratch hurts twice because of what it costs.
Buy boring on purpose, something like a Toyota Vitz. It's a small, clean hatchback. It's forgiving and cheap to repair. Learn the roads on it. Get the parking dents and the confidence out of the way on a car that will not punish you as much.
Then upgrade with enough skill and a clean record behind you. The car you actually want will still be there. It will just be safer in your hands by then.
Your first car is a classroom. Not a trophy!

What was your first car? And what did it teach you?
If I were Uganda’s disgraced former Speaker, Anita Among, I would leave my remaining Mercedes-Benz gathering dust in the garage and roll up to Parliament in a humble Toyota Probox. The sheer spectacle would spark pandemonium, set every tongue wagging, and dominate conversations for yet another two weeks.
Men are extremely calculated when it comes to dating. A man can date you and at first see you as a wife, but you can do one little thing, just one, and that can automatically cross “wife” off in his mind.
The sad part is, he often won’t tell you. He’ll continue dating you even though he no longer sees you that way, because men don’t always view time the same way women do.
The only way to protect yourself is to be on your game as a woman and stay discerning.
Can someone please explain how people manage to get 8 hours of sleep, hit 10,000 steps, go to work, attend appointments, clean their house, exercise, spend time with family, and still have time for hobbies? When I work 40 hours a week, it just seems unrealistic.
Women yap a lot when they really like you, and I find it so cute. When they’re with you, they just keep talking about the most random things. Then you’re there, smiling, listening, and adding to the gist to make her yap even more. And then she catches herself mid-yap and says, “Am I talking too much?”
No, my baby, you are not. You’re so cute, keep yapping, I’m your listener 😂❤️
