The details coming to light in the courtroom right now are a heartbreaking reminder of how completely our healthcare system fails mothers when they are desperate for help.

When someone is drowning in postpartum depression or psychosis and actively seeking support, they shouldn’t encounter disjointed providers, red tape, and doctors who aren’t even communicating with each other. A single 6-week checkup and a rushed prescription list are not a safety net.

As a mom who has navigated delayed postpartum depression, I know how heavy and invisible these struggles can be. We have to demand real structural reform so families aren’t left on their own.

Watching Rhaenyra alienate Daemon, freeze him out for Mysaria, and aggressively weaponize Helaena’s gift this episode was a whole new level of frustrating. As a lifelong Daemon girlie, seeing her handle things like that makes you question every allegiance—especially when Aegon and Sunfyre prove they are still very much alive and unleash absolute devastation on that army.

Carl and Aniya got the A-list treatment—I’m talking The Princess and the Frog aesthetic. Carl is such a gem, he deserved every cent, but watching Zack and Kayda get stuck in the swamp while the others lived in a fairy tale was painful. 🐊 Even Charlie had to point out how wild that contrast was!
I’m so happy with our Love Island USA winners, but I’m still scratching my head over some of these production choices. Did you notice the date similarities between Serena and Kordell and Trinity and Bryce, or was I just over-analyzing?

Family Day is supposed to be a reality check, but for Melanie and Sincere, it was a turning point—even if Melanie doesn’t see it that way yet. 🏝️
The most unsettling moment for me? When Sincere’s dad sat him down to call out his behavior, Sincere was just… emotionless. He was just nodding along, completely blank. If my father ever spoke to me with that kind of disappointment and concern, I would be in tears, absolutely gutted. To see him take that kind of feedback without even a flicker of genuine emotion really confirmed everything we’ve been suspecting.
Melanie’s family couldn’t have been more clear—her mom was so insightful, and her sister did exactly what any of us would do—but it seems like the truth bomb didn’t change a thing. She’s still standing by him, and it’s honestly hard to watch knowing how much she deserves better.
On a lighter note, I was genuinely surprised by how well Kenzie and Dylan’s families got along! It was such a refreshing, wholesome highlight in an otherwise heavy episode. Kenzie and Dylan’s mom are officially my favorite duo right now.

Andrew Kesler told the Current that he and his friends were playing when Sandler pulled up in a car, got out, and asked to join the game.

“Adam sandler rolled in a car and started playing pick ups with the boys,” Kesler said. “He's like ‘guys let me stretch I’m going to hop in’.”

Is Daemon Targaryen officially getting too cocky for his own good? 🐉
In the latest episode of House of the Dragon, it felt like a total power move when Daemon showed up at the Hightower stronghold with three dragons, demanding loyalty to Rhaenyra or immediate consequences. With Ormond Hightower folding so easily and handing over Daeron, I—and clearly Daemon—thought the win was in the bag.
No fight, no fuss, right? Wrong.
The realization that they’ve been hiding the real Daeron and passing off a decoy with dyed hair is absolute genius-level deception from the Hightowers. And that moment with Alicent Hightower admitting the truth to Rhaenyra was a major shock—she could have kept the ruse going, but she chose to speak up.
It’s clear Daemon is riding high on his "We are basically gods" ego, ready to conquer the world because they have six dragons to Aegon’s three. But Rhaenyra is keeping it real, focused on the people of King’s Landing and their need to actually eat before they start a global conquest.
Mark my words: Ormond Hightower is playing a much longer game, and Daemon might be underestimating exactly what he’s up against.
Also, can we take a moment to celebrate the return of the long, wavy hair? Season 2’s short, straight cut was a crime, but the flow is finally back and better than ever.

I’m particularly disappointed in Bryce and Aniya. Bryce, you have such high emotional intelligence—why are you pleading Sincere’s case instead of standing up for what’s right? And Aniya, you are supposed to be Melanie’s best friend. Where is that energy you brought when everyone came after KC? Watching you tease Sincere while he continues to disrespect your best friend is hard to watch.
True friends hold you accountable, they don’t encourage you to settle. Melanie, walk away—you deserve so much better.
