A grammar tip:
When choosing between “and me” or “and I” in a sentence, choose the one that works if you drop the other person.
“My sister and I went to the store,” becomes, “I went to the store,” which is correct.
“My sister and me went to the store,” becomes, “Me went to the store,” which is incorrect.
I think the reason why Gen Z doesn’t care about Madonna is simple: She lived to become cringe in a way none of her peers did. I think that Gen Z would love Madonna if she had died 15-20 years ago; if she had been frozen in time like all the other icons of her ilk.
Muscle gays are a minority within the gay community, yet they sit at the top of its social hierarchy.
Y’all say muscle gays hold all this “social power,” but you’re the ones giving it to them. A minority can only hold social power if the majority grants it.
Your envy, insecurity, and lust for them is the pedestal their status is built on.
And the discourse surrounding photos of them only proves they’re still the main characters living rent-free in your heads.
The hyper-focus on their photos only contributes to the very status you complain about them having.
Pretty privilege is a normal part of human behavior. Just accept it or recognize that you and this discourse contribute to it.
I’d also like to add, most of this discourse is rooted in yall deep down wanting sexual access to them but not getting it.
You’re all men, let’s be honest about what truly motivates most of you.
let people reintroduce themselves to you, even your closest friends. let them reintroduce their hobbies, dreams, and soul. familiarity shouldn't be a cage. love them for who they are now, not just who they were then.
