For the avoidance of doubt, I stand by every word I wrote then. For instance: ‘woman isn’t a costume.’ If it surprises you that I say men don’t become women by wearing make up and dresses, you didn’t understand the essay. I’ve been crystal clear all along that I believe people are free to live and present themselves as the opposite sex if that’s what feels comfortable and authentic TO THEM. This appears to have been interpreted (most often, tellingly, by men) as ‘and it naturally follows that I, as a woman, will validate a man’s belief that he is now, to all intents and purposes, the same sex as me, and I will use only the speech he deems appropriate and will be very careful to protect his sensitive ego, no matter the cost to myself in pretending to believe a falsehood, or the loss of my own rights due to this pretence.’

Dress as you like within normal bounds of situational decency, wear lipstick, sequins and a beard if you want, call yourself whatever you like, have sex with any consenting adult you please: I wish you health, happiness and safety. What you don’t get is the power to compel my speech and belief.

When I call a man a man, I am speaking verifiable truth. It is essential to be able to accurately name sex when discussing fair sport, facilities and services for women and girls and the right of gay people not to be demonised for their same-sex attraction. In years to come, a lot of useful idiots are going to awake to the fact that they’ve been complicit in enormous harm done to women, girls, gay people who stood against the insanity, and some extremely vulnerable young people. I don’t doubt we’ll hear a lot of, ‘I thought I was just being kind.’ Such individuals, especially those in positions of power, should be asked why they never had anything to say about the loud, public, widespread unkindness directed against those who refused to adopt their fashionable, elitist beliefs, eg, the detransitioners being bullied and vilified by former ‘allies’, the whistleblowers who tried to stop an unregulated experiment on troubled children, the women who lost their careers and livelihoods by standing up for all women’s rights.

Some people appear to believe it a worse crime for a woman to call a man a man than for trans activists to call loudly and publicly for the assault and assassination of all women who refuse to bend the knee. I have never wished violence or any other kind of harm on a trans-identified person, but, like many other people who’ve defended women’s and girls’ rights over the past few years, I have received thousands of threats of death, rape and torture. The wilful blindness of those who bleat ‘both sides’ will rightly be judged harshly in times to come.

TL;DR Trans women aren’t women, and if that hurts your feelings, be grateful you live in a society where you are just as free to espouse gender ideology as I am to speak the truth. As Orwell said: ‘Freedom is the freedom to say that two plus two make four. If that is granted, all else follows.’

When my school allowed a biological male into the girls' restroom without telling parents —
I went to the school board.
With my name attached.
In my own town.
I got bullied for it. Harassed online. Even some of my own teachers came after me.
I'm still here.
Because here's what I know:
The net in women's volleyball is set nearly a foot lower for a reason.
A biological male can hit a ball across that net at force that could seriously injure a girl.
And in track — all it takes is three biological males entering the girls' category
and not a single girl in this state stands on a podium.
I didn't speak up because it was easy.
I spoke up because somebody had to.
The Supreme Court is about to answer the question every girl in America is asking.

Pro tip: when arguing, try not to put words into your opponent's mouth that the opponent has never spoken. Try especially hard not to do this when you're arguing in a public forum where everyone can see exactly what has, and hasn't, been said.

You're angered that I use accurate language to describe the sexes, because the whole edifice of your ideology collapses if you acknowledge that sex is binary, that it is impossible to change sex, that sex has material, important consequences and that legal rights should be based on observable facts rather than unfalsifiable concepts.

You're working backwards from your preferred conclusion and you're prepared to advance nonsensical arguments to do it. Your attempts to change the meaning of the words 'man' and 'woman', to shift them into philosophical concepts, do not change material reality. People with differences of sexual development are male and female. The various conditions that fall beneath the intersex umbrella are sex-specific. Klinefelter syndrome only affects men. MRKH syndrome only affects women. There is no third sex. Sex is not a spectrum, and the reason so many people with DSDs dislike the old-fashioned term ‘intersex’ is precisely because ignorant people like you use it to suggest they are hermaphrodites.

And lest we forget: the argument ‘some people are born with anbiguous genitalia, so men should be allowed in women’s changing rooms’ is one of the stupidest ever made.

Zeinab Sekaanvand Lokran was only 24 years old when agents of the Islamic regime of Iran raped her for the last time and hanged her.

At 15 she was forced into a violent “marriage.” Her sadistic Muslim husband and his brother treated her as a sex slave, brutally abusing and torturing her while raping her. She suffered severe injuries and went to the police and court begging for a divorce due to the inhumane abuse and sexual torture. Her plea was officially rejected twice because Iran’s Islamic laws permit child marriages, wife beatings, and marital rape.

When her husband was found with bruises and stab wounds in his brother’s house, the brother—who also had bruises and had called the police—reported that she had arrived earlier that day and started beating her husband and him. He explained how the beating escalated when she grabbed a kitchen knife, stabbed her husband, threw the knife at the scene, and fled.

Zeinab was immediately arrested, but her testimony was not taken because women cannot testify in Islamic courts without two supporting witnesses. She said her husband was killed during a fight with his brother.

They did not investigate and ignored inconsistencies, such as the direction of the wounds not matching a right-handed girl stabbing after she allegedly fight with two grown men.

Instead, they held her in a police station for 20 days, gang-raped and severely beat her until she signed a false confession. In court, she retracted the confession and begged the judge to believe her.

They hanged her anyway. While on death row, she became pregnant and her execution was postponed because Islamic law prohibits the execution of a pregnant Muslim woman. In 2018, She gave birth to a stillborn baby; the child had died in her womb from the shock of watching her cellmate being raped and executed. Two days later, with no medical care or psychological support, the Islamic regime upheld the death sentence and hanged her.

This was not justice. This was the cold-blooded murder of an innocent girl by a system that treats women as disposable. While Zeinab was raped, tortured, forced to deliver a dead baby, and executed, Western leaders embraced the Islamic regime and ignored all the crimes against humanity committed under the Rule of Islam.

After four long days in court, the decision now rests with the Court to determine whether this action can proceed as a class action on behalf of injured Albertans.

It is one thing to encourage or promote vaccination. It is another to pressure, coerce, or incentivize individuals to accept a medical intervention through inaccurate, incomplete, or materially misleading representations.

It is one thing to pursue a public health objective for the benefit of society as a whole. It is another to knowingly expose identifiable individuals to foreseeable harm, fail to respond appropriately when that harm occurs, and then characterize those actions as nothing more than the exercise of a public duty.

A statutory mandate to promote and protect public health is not a licence to mislead, pressure, coerce, or incentivize individuals through incomplete or inaccurate information. Nor does it authorize public officials to disregard the statutory responsibilities, purposes, and limits that accompany the powers they exercise.

Also this should not be should not be controversial!

A risk does not cease to matter simply because it affects a minority of people. For those who suffer injury, the consequences can be life-altering. Carrie is one of those individuals.

The issue is not whether the number of injured people is large or small. The issue is whether those individuals were provided with accurate information, meaningful informed consent, competent support, and appropriate recourse when injury occurred.

The public was repeatedly assured that no one would be left behind. Carrie’s experience raises an important question: was that commitment honoured in practice?
