honestly its getting hard to be surprised.

with @Mysten_Labs building for scale, the signals are becoming hard to ignore.

we are seeing…

- infrastructure designed for mass adoption

- hashi to maximize bitcoin yield

- free stablecoin transfers removing friction for businesses.

- confidential transfers entering public beta

i expect to see many of these in the coming weeks.

yesterday we had a truly productive meeting with engineers from ml and the @uselinq team focused on sustainable payment rails for africa.

the next wave of adoption will come from making payments cheap, fast and seamless.

yesterday i and @mykeltyopev hosted an intimate session for participants preparing for the sui overflow ‘26.

we invited last year winners, participants and experienced hackathon devs from the ecosystem.

they shared their experience, lessons learnt and practical advice for builders.

i have no doubt that these talented crop of devs will make Africa proud once again this year.

so I’m thinking of organizing a high level session for builders participating in sui overflow ‘26 featuring past winners and participants.

last year, @suioncampus helped to produce @SUIMAIL_ that came 3rd and won five figs in prize rewards.

Our goal this year is first place and we are intentional about that.
